i did wait for 5 months before i write the review, bought this macbook pro in Jan and since then it has been working great , battery is still at 75% capacity , so not a bad deal. i bought one more, little higher price for a better config, will wait for few months before I write a review on that one.

Love my MacBook.

This refurbished MAC starting having glitches with screen going black while using it about 2 months after purchase but would work again after closing/opening sometimes. I contacted seller and they said it was the battery. After about 6 months it can only be used while plugged in. I will try to contact the seller again to see what the repair will cost.

The set up of this laptop was a complete disaster!! It came with a security remote management program tied to it that was uncrackable on my end. I contacted the seller and they were not helpful at all. Their only solution was for me to return the laptop even when I told them that was not what I wanted to do. I needed the laptop for work and retuning it meant I would have to search for a new one and wait weeks for something else to finally arrive. Plus, the fix was super simple and I explained what the seller had to do, but it seemed like they were not willing to do it at all. So I decided to just do everything myself instead of returning it to them. The fix involved contacting Apple first and then the previous owner, a corporation, then asking them to remove all the security pieces on their end. After it was confirmed the laptop wasn’t stolen, the company did just that and within hours the computer was up and running again. Only wish the seller had first checked the computer before sending it to me and was willing to help me a bit more than they did. Especially since I gave them everything and told them how to fix it!As for the laptop, the product looks new and runs just as I expected. It really is a great value!! There is an issue with the screen though. It seems to have a different brightness on one section than the rest of the screen. Most of the time it is unnoticeable so I will deal with it. Especially after everything I went through to get it working!

Product met my expectations. Shipment arrived in good condition within reasonable time frame.Would use again. Apple removed some of the connectivity features (DVD, firewire) but made it lighter, more compact and more friendly for WI-Fi. Had to update Internet passwords that had been stored in keychains.

Great performance. But came with fake charger which stopped working. Battery died after few months. Built in speaker also started acting up so had to start using external speaker. Regret buying this.

No battery life, almost as if there just wasn’t a battery. I put it on the charger and it turned on, but showed no indication of charging, then when ever it was unplugged it immediately died. I assume a proper working one would be great, but this refurbished one was no good.I’m sure it was just a mistake, and I wouldn’t expect it again, but it still seems like more then one person ought to make sure it works before marketing it.
