Blaupunkt VC 652 2-Way Component System

Absolute value for money. Excellent build quality, solid feel, heavy magnet. Cables are of decent quality as well. The tweeters are a bit bright for my taste but can be sorted by setting the HU crossover right. The mids are great. Smooth, clear and distortion free at volume if driven well. Overall it's a great set of speakers even at twice the price. Just make sure you use the right amplifier to drive them. Connected to a good HU, these will sing great, but an amplifier brings out the real details.Mount the mids using a wooden frame for clearance and there will be a noticeable improvement in performance. The flush mounts for the tweeters are a bit iffy. Make sure you use hot glue to secure the locking clip from behind. The crossover is fairly slim and can be mounted without issues inside the door. Secure the edges with tape to prevent seepage.The grills are not included in the package.

Speakers are good, well made with 80W RMS. These are the only speakers below 4K to offer such high wattage. Higher wattage helps in clear sound and these speakers don't disappoint when combined with a good amp. Though the speakers can be driven without amp it's not advisable as it does not bring out the true potential. For the price and quality I would definitely recommend.One star deducted as no speaker grill provided for the woofer. Since my fitting was inside the door pad it did not matter.

Worst set received from sardari lal and sons ludhiana and speakers are distorting they dont move as they are supposed to be they just make garrr grr irritating sound which is a shame for product like this

The product outer cover is in bad shape and the speaker grills are missing. I have installed these components in the front door along with blaupunkt gtx 693 without amplifier. The sound output of thr components is very low compared to the output of the 6x9 speakers. Even the tweeter sound is barely audible even at high volumes, these speakers are not recommended without an amplifier.

Amazon promised 2 day delivery and delivered in 36 hrs flat from Bangalore to Punjab. Coming to product, its decent with Heavy crossovers. I already have Sony GS1621C speakers which are considered even better then polk audio pro series that i had earlier, so comparing with that. Using sony GS4 amplifier. So Sony GS speakers costs 10k and are certainly more in bass response and quality of bass, atleast 50% better. Mid and vocals are better in Blaupunkt vc652, and main difference in tweeters, They are better atleast 25% then sony. Blaupunkt are 3 ohm so they extract 30% more power from given amplifier. But for bass its no match for Sony GS series, but Sony cost 3 times more, so for this price Blaupunkt is best value for money and far better then 5-6k priced pioneer, JBL. These sound damn exactly same as Rockford fosgate RSE165,EDIT: After 3 days, these sound so natural, esp tweeters, they are neither bright nor dull but a sweet blend. Now i highly recommend these and buying another pair shortly.

Received the item in excellent condition. The grill is not supplied as in the picture. The quality of the sound is excellent even without Amp and on the original head unit which came with xcent. I like this product and worth the money.
