CB's NutsUSA Grown Non-GMO Unsalted Peanuts, 12oz

I bought 3 bags of these so I could avoid eating moldy peanuts, also for my bird. The shells that were clean were great, really delicious. Unfortunately 2/3 of the shells had moderate so extreme mold that was also blackening in inside of the shell. That’s an issue with peanuts but I was surprised by the ratio because the large 10lb bags I have purchased that are not non gmo had much fewer moldy shells. I expected these to be better. The ones that were good were great.

Not cheap, but so much better than the big name brands like Hoodys. They are harder to crack open, but what you get are large intact non burnt peanuts. Wife bought a bag local so I have no idea what the price difference is between online and brick/mortar.

So I agree that these peanuts are not the same as when I bought them years ago at Whole Foods. They simply blew me away before but now they seem smaller and unevenly toasted. Giving a good review because they are still the best option for in shell peanuts. Believe me I have tried a lot of brands! I do not want to blame the producers because it could just be that the harvest has not been optimal. Will continue to purchase.

I didn't pay attention to the listed shipping charges which were 5 times the cost of the peanuts! I will not repeat that error. The peanuts, however, were pretty good.

Stale. I ate 5 peanuts and tossed the rest.
