MXR Classic 108 Fuzz Mini Guitar Effects Pedal

If you’re looking for a fuzz that’s akin to the Dark Side of the Moon tones Gilmour got then this is definitely worth your attention. It has the same level of fuzz, spit, and sound you’d expect for a silicone based Fuzz Face replicate.It comes in the usual quality of housing as other MXR pedals, and my unit has been performing flawlessly with regular, daily use.The pedal does respond to your guitars volume knob, but not as much as you might hope. You’re definitely not able to go from all out fuzz to barely on overdrive tones. Rather, the tone goes from crazy fuzz to more comfortable, gentle fuzz while retaining the same overall tone.Overall, a very excellent pedal and worth your time if this is the kind of sound you’re going for.

Sounds just like a silicon fuzz face but small.

Not the fuzziest fuzz out there but does sound and work great. Built like a very small tank. The buffer button works like a charm...no issues when using with bad horsie wah or other effects when buffer is on.

Easy to use and great tones in a compact pedal.

Decent fuzz but a little weak in the low end so I follow it with an MXR Booster with the internal EP setting at 50% and use that in tandem to get the signal level I want. Decent price point for such a classic sound.

I feel slightly underwhelmed with this fuzz performance. It sounded like a hive of bees, not my cup of tea. Performance-wise, I prefer the Keeley Fuzz Bender.

The media could not be loaded.  Literally NO signal whatsoever.This is my SECOND pedal from MXR that had issues. My Timmy pedal needed a new input jack within 3 months. They fixed it, but the principle is that their quality control has been AWFUL.

It's a great little silicon fuzz face with an optional buffer (to give you freedom of placement in your signal chain). If you are looking for a fuzz face, this is a solid option.
