Replacement L Button Key Ribbon Flex Cable for Nintendo NS Switch Joy-Con Controller Buttons Cable

Way cheaper than replacing a joycon
My switch suffered a fall and the L button stopped working. Rather than replace the joycon, I opted to try to fix it instead. This ribbon was relatively easy to replace, no soldering required. It is small and fiddly though, so tweezers are recommended

Should work as long as you get a good one.
The cable seemed like a perfect replacement for the broken one that Nintendo put it. I tore it all apart and changed the cable out and the first time i hit the button this one broke completely off the ribbon. Ordered two more hoping one of them will be ok. Here's hoping! The second one i got and installed worked great! I would recommend just buying two just in case you have an issue. They are cheap enough to even have a spare for the future.Pretty easy fix too as long as you have the right tools. I didn't have in any of my tools or bits a size 00 tri tip screwdriver, so i bought a nice little kit for like $15 on here. With the kit it was pretty easy!

Exact replica of the OG button used in the first production run of the switch
The was a perfect fit on my OG left joycon. The part looked and was exactly the same as the original button except the new one didn't have the button broken off of it. It is a very simple part to replace and if you're gentle you can leave a lot of the internal ribbon cables connected when replacing it.Any review stating it was difficult to install was written by someone with either no fine motor skills, or by someone who has never opened up or repaired electronics before.

Works perfectly
It works. But "L" button doesn't feel the same. Slightly harder to press, and the click sounds different. That's expected though, and unless your very familiar with how it normally feels or you are also using the R button you'll notice a difference, most people wont be able to tell a difference. But if you don't use joycons much this is a perfect fix. Plus the L button isn't used too often in some games anyways. The "-" button feels the same.

Works as advertised
Had a Left Joycon that had the L button stop working. This ribbon cable had everything attached that I needed to replace it. I already had the tools (which were obviously not included). Easy installed, the L button and (-) minus button work perfectly.

Worked perfectly
I ordered the part and had a friend of mine instal it for me, it as worked perfectly well for the past couple of weeks and shows no sign of deterioration in performance in anyway

Does not fit
The microswitch/button is not the same as the original. it is larger in every dimension and does not fit in the joycon without bending or modifying the plastic. best case scenario you can get it in there with a ton of vertical play in the button and inconsistent performance but I tried this in 2 joy cons and one of the wouldn't move or click at all. See the many other review with this same complaint. DO NOT BUY. These reviews are 100% accurate. The white button is also a different material that seems like it would wear more quickly and it was very stiff.

Great part!
I'm so happy that there's these parts on here, so much easier on the wallet than going to big name company!
