Purchased another brand that described their roller as soft and it was anything but. Trying to use it caused me so much pain and soreness. I bought this one as a replacement. Once I tried this one out the other one felt like I had been rolling on a brick. Oh my goodness, this is exactly what I was looking for. A very simple tool, but it works wonders. It is dense, but has give and is so helpful for stretching and waking up muscles, as well as, recovery such as working out sore or tight muscles.

I've been struggling with back pain for some time now and decided to explore some tools to get relief myself and I read a lot of mixed reviews, some saying that this was too firm or poorly constructed, but this is perfect for my needs.I will say that there is a noticeable line where two halves of the cylinder meet, not sure why they mold them that way but it does not appear to affect the utility and you can't feel it either when using it.This roller is what I'd call medium firm. It's not super soft where you'll sink right through it nor is it so hard that it has no give. It's dense enough that if you press hard enough you can indent it with your thumb/finger but not much.I have followed some basic "roll out" recovery videos to learn the basic moves but generally just explored what felt best for my body. I use this regularly to crack my back after evening yoga, just lay down with the roller about shoulder/shoulder blade height with your hands laced behind your head and just exhale and roll up and it releases so much tension.I think this has just the right amount of firmness and texture for the price. Not too overwhelming for a beginner either. Would recommend.

I like this foam roller for home use. It's long enough to lay on from Sacrum up to head so I can let my shoulders drop to the mat and do various exercises. It works great rolling out Quads and I.T. Bands. Color is great and foam is good quality. Fits the bill for me! Thanks!

Product arrived slightly damaged on foam as seen in pics. Doesn’t affect the functionality of roller. Tried to show that it has some give in pics but still firm enough to get the job done. Used on my back immediately after unboxing and it felt amazing, the feel good hurt kind :) My back popped a few times and it definitely loosened things up. Excited to use and see how it holds up after some time. Picture with scissors is to show size. It basically fits the width of my body with not much extra on either side.

i have been diagnosed with losing curvature in spine in neck area. which intern caused me to pretty well lock up trying to turn head one way. going thru physical therapy they told me one of these rollers were great for home exercise and would help me help myself. now 10 mins a day on top of roller is keeping my neck movement free

This roller is sturdy. Comfortable to use, and firm enough to be effective.

This has been an excellent purchase. Helping to stretch out tired limbs and back. Balance and posture is improving by following the prescribed exercises.

Has a slight softness to it (meaning not rock hard like most of them). Well made foam roller. Like it.

I really like the size of this foam roller - easy enough to pack up to bring to the gym, but big enough to be able to use (not one of the compact squishy ones). Had a medium firmness which is perfect in my opinion, and the ridges provide enough pressure but not too aggressive like other foam rollers. Will see how the durability is/how long it lasts, but so far I’m really happy with this purchase!
