Timex Men's TW2R80300 Southview 41mm Brown/Black Leather Strap Watch

I bought this watch to be another beater or just daily watch. I have been very pleased with TimeX in the past and decided to buy another one. This watch overall is good for the price point.1. WATCH BAND- THe watch band itself is what I expected for this watch. It is very cheap and feels very poor in quality. I would recommend replacing it with a different type of watch band to give it a better look.2. CRYSTAL- The crystal on this watch is again what I expected for this price point. It is pretty good and does the job, but it collects a lot of fingerprints.3. THE CASE- The case is painted in a high gloss black and is very resistant to scratches in my experience. I have slammed it in a door on accident and the paint did not chip or show any major signs of damage4. THE DIAL- The dial of the watch is good and gets the job done. None of the roman numerals are raised and the hands are simple and plain. The only thing that really bugs me is the second's hand does not land perfectly on the markings.FINAL VERDICT- I really do like this watch for the price point and would recommend it for someone who is just getting into watches or some who wants a decent daily or beater watch. The watch does a good job of being simple and clean. I would still replace the strap as the poor quality band takes away for a decent looking case. In the end, this is not going to be a dress watch or something you can wow someone with on its craftsmanship. It's plainly a good clean watch that I enjoy wearing when I don't care about accidentally hitting it or wrecking it on something.

I think the color is much darker than advertised. But anyway, this is my third Timex watch. I love the quality, the stylish design and the price... So far works very good. It is totally silent and the wrist band is very confortable! It would have been cool if it came with the date and the índigo light. But the minute arm and the hour arm light up softly in the dark.

My husband is hard on watches. So, sitting in the car, looking at his bare arm, he said he "couldn't live without a watch". Just so happens I had just bought this watch as a gift for him but hadn't had time to wrap it for Christmas. I reached into my purse and pulled it out. He was delighted. He likes Timex. He likes watches he can read. He prefers analog over digital. This meets all his requirements and he really likes it. What other kind of rating can I do? If he likes it, it's analog and a Timex, there is nothing else to say. It is a very handsome watch.

Very nice watch, but it is quite loud. In a quiet room I have been asked if there was a clock in the room as people next to me could hear it. Also the watch band is very cheap, definitely buy a replacement for it.

I get compliments all the time on this watch. I wear a lot of brown leathers, blue jeans and shirts, so naturally this watch matches with those. But honestly, it matches with most things that I wear. It walks a fine line between being sharp, yet not too flashy, and the price was very reasonable, too. Not a bad thing to say about this watch. If you're looking for a basic, classy, affordable watch, you may want to check this one out.

I love the watch. It looks just like the pictures and keeps time well. I am female so I have small wrists. Because of this I did have to punch another hole in the strap and I cut down the length of the strap but I expected this when I bought a men's watch.

Just arrived, so I'm keeping one star off since I don't know about reliability yet.The watch itself seems fine. The black band is so flimsy it's hard to believe it's really leather, but, it fits me and that's rare because I have wrists the size of fence posts. So I'll wear the cheap band until it needs replacement.Other feature I really enjoy: that loud Timex tick. My old Timex finally died on me, and I missed hearing its soft metallic tick on the nightstand near my bed.

Absolutely LOVE timex watches. My only complaint is how difficult it is to change the batter. I found that I essentially had to bring it somewhere, so when my previous timex battery failed, I was ready for a new one anyhow. I'm INCREDIBLY hard on watches, as I essentially never take them off. For the money, I find them 100% worth the money even if they last 3 years for me. The funniest thing. No matter how best up they get, THEY KEEP TICKING. Timex really hit the nail on the head with "Takes a licking, and keeps on ticking." A beautiful watch that spells classy.

I absolutely love this watch. I was looking for a sleek watch that would be an accessory to many different looks without being too bold... this watch fits that role perfectly. The watch isn't absurdly bulky and the creme face fits really nicely with both darker and lighter colors.A big thing that I know that people aren't a big fan of with Timex watches is the loud ticking. Honestly, while sleeping or in an empty board room, I can only hear the watch if I hold it right up to my ear. Definitely not as loud as the weekender or other such models.The strap isn't the best strap in the world, but it gets the job done. I'll probably keep this strap for now and eventually upgrade to a higher quality leather that lasts longer. If you're not familiar with your leathers, genuine leather IS leather, but it is the lowest possible quality (i.e. Filet Mignon vs. a flank steak, they're both good, but one is just higher quality). Regardless, the strap doesn't look cheap or feel cheap and so it's still a great strap.Overall, great watch at a very affordable price point. Definitely recommend picking this up as a introduction into finer watches.

Me agrada su diseño, muy buena calidad de materiales, la correa es muy suave de calidad aceptable, el tamaño es acorde a este tipo de relojes, salvo que tengas muy pequeña la muñeca podría verse grande.Aproveché el descuento que tenía y quedo muy satisfecho de haber realizado esta inversión.Lo he utilizado en un par de ocasiones y puedo afirmar que la legibilidad de la hora y comodidad es excelente.Lo único malo fue la caja donde venía, llegó maltratada y corriendo el riesgo de ser golpeado y romperse el cristal. Solo venía en una bolsa de papel.De manera general lo recomiendo 100%

Un reloj muy bueno, la calidad en cada uno de los materiales en este reloj, se siente del momento en que lo tienes en las manos, a pesar de que dice que es oro rosa es más color cobre, lo cual me encantó porque le da un toque de elegancia, de momento sin problemas, se ve como nuevo y ya tiene un mes de uso.
