I needed a larger magnetic area

I really do love this for my cross-stitch. I only wish that the magnifier was longer than it is.

Very helpful but it is very stiff at first, which makes it difficult to use at first.

I like the magnifying glass but I used to have this same thing and the pattern rested against a metal backing. This is a flimsy piece of cardboard with a magnetic piece glued to it. It works but I'd have rather had the metal back.

The magnetic board and magnets are not strong enough for each other. Can't hold a single piece of paper. Magnifying bar is too heavy to be held up by the magnet.

Exactly what I have been looking for and very difficult to find. I use to have a bigger holder that allowed me to see more of the pattern and color chart and I loved it. It comes with the plastic/acrylic (?) magnetic pattern holder. It sits steady so I don't have to put my work down to hold the pattern. Works well for someone who has had great eyesight until she hit her 50's. Magnification is great too.

Not terribly impressed with this. It's lightweight - OK in itself, I suppose, but it doesn't have much strength. The holder itself is a plastic material to which magnets will not stick. A cardboard (!) panel with a surface to which they WILL stick - sort of - is provided. The provided magnifying ruler magnifies well enough, but does not have a line. To cap that off, it doesn't hold well on the panel, making it nearly useless.To fix all this, I will acquire a thin 8 1/2" x 11" sheet metal panel to replace the cardboard piece, and we have already purchased a better magnifier.If you don't need the magnetic features, this product is adequate. If you do, keep looking ...
