One star for washing as has the most ambiguous and contradictory washing instructions I've ever read.Instruction 1: Machine washInstruction 2: Machine or hand washInstruction 3: Hang dry or gentle tumble dryInstruction 4: Do not tumble dry or hang to air dry.Also claims to be washable up to 40C, then says wash in cold water.Well that's clear then.Personally, I have decided to avoid washing altogether by never actually using the mat :-)

I've previously purchased Turtle Mats to ensure that I get a good mat with little effort. And whilst I've been dead impressed with the Turtle Mats, I needed another for my garden office that didn't justify the higher cost.I found this mat and took a chance to save some money. And whilst I can see there's a physical difference, the reality is that I'm not experiencing much from between using the Turtle Mat and this one.That could be because this mat isn't receiving as much wear as the others, but overall I'm still impressed.** Pros **- Accurate size- Nice colour- Doesn't move much- Great value- Good absorbency of water and dirt** Cons **- Moves more than a Turtle Mat does

Absolutely appalled at this mat. If i could have given -stars rating i would! The drum of my Shark Hoover was packed full after 2 goes at it! My windowsill and furniture were covered in black fibres...god knows how much we have inhaled! I have had a random eye infection/irritation which could well be linked. What if you suffered with asthma! It says to wash in washing machine first!!!! It's far too big and too heavy dry never mind wet. It would break a washing machine. Going to return this. Do not buy!

This is an absolutely wonderful rug for the inside of your entrance door, it is super absorbent and anti-slip. the reason for the drop in a star is that it gives off a massive amount of fluff when it is washed!! I have slipped it into a large pillowcase with the second wash and it still welts a lot. it does wash and tumble beautifully but protect you washing machine and tumble dryer by washing the rug in a slip.

I purchased this item as it showed up in outdoor mats search. The instructions which came with the mat stated that it should not get fully soaked which will happen regularly in London in winter months. So now I am using it as an internal mat (which works) but i might have picked a different color and style.

My only concern is that it arrived with no instructions. Had I not read the product info when I ordered I would not have known that it needed washing before use. This info was right at the bottom and I would imagine a lot of people don't look that far down. It did come with a wash bag and you do need to use this as there is a lot of fluff . Use in the tumble dryer also. I have had one before which I think must be from a different supplier and didn't have to prewash.

Looking at The reviews maybe should have read? But yes wash cold first in washing machine in bag (bought the smaller one) didn't really spin it and yes lots of shed ( which it states) so dried on rad which took a while. It was too wet outside to line dry. Have put it by main door we use in kitchen, I find it really good! Keeps my floor looking cleaner for longer, I've got another mat as well in front which is longer so both together does the job! Great for my dogs paws saves all the paw prints all over the kitchen when she runs in! Yes I find it does shed but I sweep the floor each day anyway?! It's been great while we've had all this wet weather! All the mud! We live in the country! Hope this helps?

I was really disappointed with this product as each time it rains it gets drenched as doesn’t dry although the description said quick drying. Not good for outdoor use as stated. The mat itself isn’t really good at cleaning your feet so such a shame as not for for purpose. I would return the product but I have now missed the deadline as didn’t have any rain for to test it out!
