Tractor Mac Harvest Time

Bought for my son in preparation for a trip to the apple orchard and pumpkin patch. He loves tractors so thought this might be a good way for him to learn. Comes with stickers on the inside cover. Illustrations are beautiful and the story is easy to understand. I look forward to giving him this and reading it over and over.

I CANNOT say enough good things about the Tractor Mac series! The artwork is beautiful and the stories are fantastic - always a sweet lesson. My 3 year old son loves tractors & all things mechanical, so we have been Tractor Mac fans for a while now. Harvest Time is our 5th TM book & I think it might be my favorite! (But then, I think that every time we get a new one!) You can't go wrong with Tractor Mac!!

I purchased this just before I went apple picking with my 2 year old grandson. He loves machines and so the tractors in the book connected the apple picking with something he was interested in. At the apple farm, he actually saw exactly the same tractor/wagon set-up that is in the book. The book is still one of his favorites.

Another Tractor Mac winning story! Mac must trade jobs with another tractor at harvest time because the apple and pumpkin picking are two entirely different jobs!

Even though my 2 year old son enjoys this book, I regret buying it. The text is clunky and the story is dull compared to other children’s books; I dread reading it aloud. There is nothing cute or clever about the writing or plot. The moral of the story is weak and only tossed in at the end. The detailed and colorful illustrations are the book’s only redeeming quality. My son adores looking at them, especially because they prominently feature tractors and trucks.

My son loves tractor Mac books. Every book has a great story and a hidden lesson. The illustration is also perfect. Well done! Recommend to anyone buy a book for a tractor crazed child!

Another great story in the Tractor Mac series. And my grandson loves this one too. And my granddaughter as well.

My two year old son and 4 year old daughter both love the Tractor Mac books. So many books are either all about machines, or all about animals. I love how this series blends the two the animals are Macs friends and they interact. This is a very nice story and a great way to get the kids in the mood for all that goes on during the Fall season.
