Q: My lipstick arrived with no plastic packaging. This is not sanitary! Did anyone else experience that?

Mine was also unsealed. It didn't appear to be used, but I threw it out anyway because there was a possibility someone opened it. We know the covid virus is aerosolized, meaning it comes out of our breath and lands on things, but we don't know how long it lives on cosmetics. Lipstick is a lipid/fat based product, and the membrane of the virus is also a lipid. I don't know if it's lipophilic (though most lipids have affinity to each other), so I'm to going to take chances since the virus has not been tested on cosmetics. Even if there were no pandemic, it's just unconscionable and unethical to have unsealed cosmetics.
