I just got my KOIOS hand blender out to use. We have been upgrading our kitchen so not a lot of food prep or cooking has been going on . Was excited to finally use my new gadget, to discover it doesn't work properly, the low speed button doesn't work at all.The turbo button works fine, but that is only for short burst of blender. And I missed amazons return by just a few days. So I'll go through KOIOS service representative. Luckily it has a 2 year warranty limited of course.This update review has been a long time coming from me. This is to change my first one star to a five star. The blender deserves it and more importantly the company. As soon as I called with the problem a KOIOS representative made it her personal mission to fix it, Clara was the reps name, she was very efficient and friendly, she issued a replacement that day and told me when I would receive it from Amazon. Sure enough the day it was to arrive Clara was calling to ask if I had received the new blender, it hadn't arrived. She was upset about it and said that was Amazons error. Clara made sure I was getting my new blender replacement, she sent it overnight , and I received it the very next day. Clara called to make sure it arrived and that it was working properly. I gave it a run as soon as I got it out of the box,and everthing worked fine on it.Unfortunately as far as putting it to work with food that was a long wait. I got sick and had no energy for anything.But now I am better and couldn't wait to put my new fancy hand blender to the test. I used the whisk first making a thin batter, I put the speed setting to one and never had to move it. There was more than enough power to mix it all together. 500 watts makes this little machine a work horse. I worried about getting food stuff on the body of the blender, the hand blender has a satin finish that feels so good under your hands and luckily it wipes clean beautifully.I have made smoothies with frozen fruit and protein powders and a little almond milk and the blades chopped the fruit and blended a thick smoothie.The parts remove easily with a push of two buttons and they snap back on securely. This hand blender is well made and beautiful to look at and easy on the hands. But you do have to be prepared for the torque it has, even on the lowest setting it will jerk the body of the blender so be ready when you hit the power button. The first time startled me. I had no problems after that. I have hand and wrist issues and running the blender has not given me any problems.This hand blender by KOIOS is a great addition to any ones kitchen tools and it's just about the sexiest kitchen appliance you'll ever see. The pictures don't do it justice.If you're looking for a powerful hand blender, look no further. I recommend this product easily.Now only if KOIOS would add a nice box to store all the components of the hand blender in, they could even make it a sexy one too. Hint hint lol.

I found fair to take the time to make this review because it might help someone to decide in purchasing this hand immersion blender. I am the kind of person that read many reviews before buying a product because the experience of people really talk about the product.Let me tell you this blender is just espectacular!!! If I could give it more than 5 starts, I will. I started a month ago making my own mayo at home using healthy oils (a mixture if avocado, olive and coconut oils) and I was using my food processor. The mayo Was coming good and delicious but I takes long time to make it in the food processor since you have to add the oil Very slowly. Also the cleaning of the processor is tedious. Then I took the decision to buy the hand blender and from all the budget friendly blender in the market, this is definitely the best. High power(800 watt.. waoooo), many speeds and 3 tools in one. I tried first the whisk and I love dit. I beat eggs every day so it is very convenient to do it with this blender.I tried today with my mayo preparation and I was literally in shock how easy and fast I was able to prepare the mayo. I put everything together and in les than 3 minutes I had the most ticker and wonderful mayonnaise I have tried on my life. You really need to try it!! I bet you you won’t regret, and anyway the product has free return but I believe me you won’t return it.Cleaning the product is a piece of cake, I hand wash it with hot soapy water and a little brush (I even think you don’t need the brush but I am picky).I read some comments saying the blender is heavy and difficult to change the attachments, that is not true or I was too lucky. I found very easy to change the attachments and very easy to hold and manipulate.I just wish the blender would come with a cup to blend. From all my containers, I had only one wide mouth mason jar where the blender fits perfect but I am little afraid if using glass for this purpose.In conclusion, this product deserves your trust and will save a lot of time in the kitchen

Updated 02/15/2021: Used intermittently for a year, about twice a month. Motor burned out last evening while whipping soft cooked potatoes for about 30 seconds. Will replace it for sure, but not with this model. Was great while it lasted for light duty whipping and mixing.Original Review: To be honest, I bought this because I wanted something quick and easy to whip eggs and puree soups that didn't have a lot of attachments, was inexpensive, and didn't take up a lot of space. This seemed to fit the bill. So far I've used it for my intended purposes. While the housing seems to be sturdy enough, it feels heavier than I thought it would be and is not as easy to maneuver as I had hoped. The wires on the whipping attachment are quite flimsy, as others have commented, and I would hesitate to try using it on anything except soft ingredients. Worked fine to whip egg whites and mashed potatoes, but I did partially mash the potatoes first with a potato masher. The pureeing attachment was a bit more cumbersome to use to puree my fully cooked soup, but it did do the job and was easier to use and clean up than my food processor. The instruction booklet does caution you not to run the motor for more than a minute at a time or it might overheat and ruin the motor, and I would concur that it does run hot. Also states that it should not be used on hard or dry foods, such as ice, or you risk damaging the blades.Update: overheats too fast. Tried whipping five egg whites and then five egg yolks separately for a recipe. Took three minutes to whip the egg whites, at which point it was so hot that it started to smell. Ended up having to use my hand mixer to finish the job. Took more than ten minutes to cool down to the point where I could safely handle it. I consider this to be essentially useless for cooking recipes that require prolonged whipping. I will give it 3 stars because it is a helpful tool if you recognize its limitations.

Buscaba algo fuerte y durable, todos las batidoras de inmersión de mas de 800 watts costaban por lo menos el triple, el diseño es muy sencillo y agradable que ayuda al manejo, la garantia que ofrecen es muy buena, lo recomiendo.

Hasta el momento muy bueno, fácil de manejar mezcla uniforme ningún problema
