Brand New Scytek Astra 777 2 Way Paging Car Alarm System with Dual Stage Shock Sensor, and All the Latest Features

Writing in manual is a bit small but still able to be read.

I do wish that it had another paging remote. Anywhose, the price is very difficult to beat. The two-way paging system is excellent. I only use the shock sensor and the paging portion. I do not fancy the power door locks, etc., because this is easy to defeat in almost any alarm sys. Besides, with a convertible top, just cut the top open, no? Anywhose, place the antenna away from metal in an open area, if you can. On a Miata, the antenna fits well just behind the right-side of the passenger seat. That way, the antenna belts out a strong S-9er radio signal in all directions. I was able to control the alarm from over 300 feet away while inside of an elevator of a steel building. I am surprised that you do not need an FCC license in order to operate such. The control console has zillions of output options. You can even control some of the options via the remote. For instance, you can change the trunk pop into an ignition kill switch just be sure that you know what you are doing so that this does not function while you are on the motorway. Better yet, keep the alarm silent and use the extra button so that you can decide if you want to ring a four stage alarm.

Good alarm system on a budget.

would be better if two-way communication detected status change when it happened rather than having press a button to check condition. Instructions and wiring diagram are accurate and easy to understand.

Good alarm system, I did a self install for my first ever alarm. transmitter and receiver radius is decently well and installation isn't all that hard if you look up the installation instructions for your car and the alarm system.

This company clearly advertised this as a "Brand New" alarm system. I was NOT! The remote to this system had obviously been used by the scratches on the screen. I still tried to give it the benefit of a doubt. Finally, once installed the alarm system has been giving me problems ever since. The technician at the Alarm shop said the device is faulty and I'd have to agree. I have another alarm system on my other car and have never experienced these issues.I would imagine this product would have been fine if Discounts Jungle did not falsely advertise this product as being "Brand New."
