Well worth the money
Like a lot of people I read a lot of reviews on these, but this one looked the best of the bunch and the main problem with all of them was the handles that you push down to expel all the water were bending out of shape. So I decided to go for it and if it had the same problem I might be able to strengthen them somehow. This one is fine, you just have to take your time. You are never going to squeeze all of the water out in one go so do it with some force to get some of the water out, leave it for a few minuets and do it again and keep doing this until it is firm enough to take out of the log maker. Find somewhere worm to put it, Greenhouses are great, in a potting tray or outside if it's sunny (cover it at night or if it rains) and leave it for a couple of days.

Rubbish and flimsy
Rubbish, pay for what you get I suppose as this bent out of shape on first use! Chucked around the back of the shed along with the rest of the scrap..

Nice item
Nice item, the only thing is when you press down the handles do cut into your hand a little, you want something on them. I found this pretty sturdy, not had any bending yet I think a mans strength could well bend it so keeping the other half away :)

Arms bent
Bought for my son, he stated the arms bent when using the equipment. He stated it is not sturdy enough for the task

Not brilliant
Does the job as long as you don't apply too much pressure in order to get the water out of the mix - the handles easily bend if you are a bit heavy-handed! Okay if you don't mind having to leave the briquettes for a long time to dry

Great for the first couple of uses
I have made 15 bricks with this brick maker and the first few uses it was really good. There are some sharp edges and corners and these have caught my hand a few times but otherwise it is quite easy to use. The first few bricks were great then it slowly started to bend out of shape with every use. I managed to use wood to strengthen the plate that compacts the brick, this worked for a few bricks but then the sides started to bend out also. I’m now at the point of after each usage I’m having to use a mallet to bend it back into shape to properly make the brick otherwise the bottom plate pops out of place. In all I think it’s a brilliant idea but it’s just not strong enough to last and is not sturdy enough, I feel like it was a waste of money.
