For years I've jacked the car up without these and had to find a spot on the frame to put the jack and then another to put a jack stand. My newest car is now completely covered underneath except the suspension. This made jacking it up difficult and more difficult to place a jack stand. With these I can easily place the jack stand on the pinch welded frame and I'm not breaking the covers. Also get the slotted rubber one for the jack.

They seem well made but have not used them yet.I just wanted to note that they will NOT fit directly on Pro-Lift T-6906D Double Pin Jack Stands as one of the other reviewers noted. On that jack stand, they would create a safety hazard since they sit in place but could easily slip and rotate a little once load is placed on them. This could cause them to shear and then the load could drop up to an inch. This would be dangerous.I am not sure anyone really needs these when using jack stands.

These fit my jack stands fine, but my 2018 CTS-V has small cut outs in the rockers for the pinch welds and these did not fit as they were too big. I would have kept them if I had another car that didn't have the pinch welds all covered up.

I got these for padding the contact point where your car rests on your Jack stands. I use these on the basic (2.5 or 3 ton... can't remember) stands you get at Harbor Freight. Fit great and worked perfectly. They did show some scoring wear in the rubber after even the first use...but they didn't tear or rip. I can't speak to overall durability as a result, but they do what they are supposed to.

I started doing my own car work within the past few months and when jacking up my car, I wasn't sure where to place stands. Every video or article is focused on the pinch weld and too many of them are using the scissor jack as the jack. Well, that's not how the real world works, we use floor jacks for everything other than emergency tire changes on the road.These pads allow you to use your jack stands on the pinch weld and it makes it a lot easier to properly support a car when doing any work that requires you to take the tires off. These are darn near a must have and I'm surprised that the manufacturers of jack stands don't have such pads available.

Well made and solid. Fit perfectly on my BIG RED Torin Steel Jack Stands. However, they do NOT fit on my AmazonBasics Steel Jack Auto Stands. The AmazonBasics arm is too wide and these cannot fit over them. Note in the product details that these are "specifically compatible with Torin Big Red T43002".

They're just fine. A little off when it comes to fitting on my jack stands. The rubber is plenty hard and the slot did right into the punch weld on my car. All is well.

These aren't for hydraulic jacks, they're for jack stands and work okay but pinch weld jack points may eventually cut through the rubber.
