Beautiful Sword for a Beautiful Price
So obviously this sword isn't sharpened or anything, but as far as I've seen, besides one of the blue beads being unglued when I opened the package, this is worth the money spent. While not every detail is exactly the same as the sword from the anime, it is extremely close, especially concerning the colors and apparent size. I wasn't terribly thrilled about "China" being etched onto the blade (as seen in one of the pictures), but it is relatively small and really a non-issue.Seeing that the blade is made of stainless steel, it is a bit heavy, but is surprisingly balanced for a collectable sword (probably an accident, but still pretty cool). You could, I guess, if you wanted to, fight with this, but I really wouldn't recommend it unless you swung very lightly and only did it for maybe a photoshoot or short action clips or something. However, the edges can be sharpened pretty easily, as seen by the already kind-of sharp (but dull) edges and the pointy tip (which I stabbed the box it arrived in with). Another flaw, however, was that some bits had the sea-foam green, turqoise-ish paint going onto some metallic shiny bits, and that throws that small section off a bit, but you see things like that in just about everything, so you really shouldn't consider that a big issue. It's also a bit heavy, as I said, especially for a Rapier, but, again, it's just a collectable. The overall length of the sword seems fairly accurate as well, measuring about 38.25 inches in length (the blade is about 29.5 inches) and the sword fits very nicely inside of the wooden sheath (the wood seems to be very well done for this piece) which has metal design elements at both ends of it, just like Asuna's Lambent Light.Overall, these are my ratings:Accuracy: 8/10Length: 9/10Colors: 10/10Materials: 10/10Beauty: 10/10Build (Sturdiness): 10/10

A Cosplayer's Dream
I'm a huge SAO fan, have been ever since a friend introduced me to the manga. I was super excited for the anime and fell in love with it as well once it was released. This sword is really great quality. Except for the fact that one of the jewels fell off upon opening the box. Nothing superglue couldn't fix. As for the sword itself, it's a little too thick of blade to truly be a Rapier. However, it is metal. It's heavy and a little unbalanced, but the sheath and pummel are dead on matches for the manga (The exception being the size of jewels, which are a little on the bigger side.) The sword is dull, but the tip is sharp. The scabbard is wooden and wonderful craftsmanship. The reason I gave it five star was solely for the product itself. It's worth the price and you won't be disappointed. The only problem I found for it, is that it doesn't have any catch to attach it to a belt for cosplaying. I'm excited to include this into my Halloween costume.

Beautiful
The only problem I had with it was the top coming off of the handle. Super glue fixed the problem instantly. The sword itself looks identical to the one from the anime. It's a bit heavy, but what can you expect from a sword made of metal? I've had it for nearly a month now and I'm still extremely pleased with it.

... out immediately out of the packaging but a little super glue and no one is the wiser
The gems fell out immediately out of the packaging but a little super glue and no one is the wiser. Otherwise it's PERFECT, identical to the anime, lightweight and well proportioned. Couldn't be happier.

Perfect!
Other than the bottom coming off and a blue gem falling off in the box. A little hot glue and super glue and it's just as good. Nice quality wooden sheath and nice metal.
