This Is The Police 2 Nintendo Switch - Nintendo Switch

I bought this game about a year ago and played it shortly after, I just couldn't get into it at the time... You know how that goes.Then last week I was looking for something to play in my collection and grabbed This is the Police 2 to try it out again.This time I was completely sucked into the game and I have been playing it all week.Just finished it and figured I should leave a review.It's a niche game, but if you are willing to give it a try you might find yourself really enjoying it.

If I had to be specific, i'd give this game more of a 3.5. The actual gameplay portion of managing your cop squad, rts encounters, and other management sim elements are a lot of fun, if you like that genre (even if a bit too unforgiving at times). A cool original idea in gaming is always refreshing these days too.The story and presentation of the game is lacking though. The long drawn out story is incredibly slow (mostly told in still images comic book style), conversations are dull, and there is too much time between missions and "days." It takes awhile to get going too that I was almost put off before I got to the meat of the game.Many of the npc characters also become frustrating to deal with to the point of almost being too hard, but that's part of the challenge. I could see that putting some players off if they aren't patient.By far my favorite part was the actual hub screen, managing officers, sending them on missions, completing rts encounters, etc. I wish they streamlined it a bit more and cut back on the story.Overall Entertaining and fun at times, but I wouldn't recommend to everyone. Adult, patient, strategy gamers would like it.
