T THOMPSON TEE Women's Sweatproof Undershirt | Deep V Neck | Slim Fit | with Sweat Pads

The underarm area that absorbs sweat is big. The tee is super comfortable and easy to wash and dry. I get hot easily and this does not make me feel too hot, even wearing it under a sweater. It is stretchy and easy to throw on. It is low enough in the neck so it doesn't show through other tops. The tee keeps my sweaters fresh so I don't have to wash them (and ruin them!). I am super happy with this purchase. Another brand I tried with 3/4 length sleeves had a tiny under arm sweat area and made me too hot!

In the last few years I have become a sweater... I sweat when I'm hot - I sweat when I'm cold, when I'm nervous, when I'm anxious - it. never. stops. By the time I drive to work in the morning, I have already sweated through my clothing. It's been a nightmare.I have had to completely abandon most of my closet and buy lose, flowy shirts with low arm seams - or put on my "granny shawl" at work to hid the stains.I have a big meeting at work where I will be presenting to a large group - I bought this shirt in the hopes it will save me from complete embarrassment because I know I will be a solid puddle that day. I decided to test it out before the big day next week.I got up yesterday and showered as always. I skipped putting on my usual antiperspirants - (hey, I was alone, and if you're gonna test it, I say, "give it a challenge!") I put on the shirt and continued my day at home of cleaning, some light yard work (June in the South), and running up and down stairs all day.First Impressions: The shirt is soft was other reviews mention. I got a size Small and it fits me well. Not too tight, but hugs me where it should. I like the size of the underarm pads, I felt "covered". The pads do make a noise when you move your arms, (like fabric moving against fabric), but its a small thing to me.I did sweat! I could feel the pads doing their job. At one point in the day they felt very damp (not soggy, wet - just damp). Not the greatest feeling in the world, but when I sat down again and tried to relax after about 30mins or so I could feel them drying out again.You do feel the pads. Some reviews mention its like having a maxi pad under your arm. I wouldn't go that far. For me, I like that I can feel the pad as it makes me feel assured that the barrier is there. But its not bulky and it does not restrict movement at all.I am very pleased so far! I kept the shirt on all day and not once did I sweat through the pads. I am so excited at the possibility of having my entire closet to choose from again!

I get stress sweat pretty bad. It's really annoying, so I'm glad I came across this! The padded area could be slightly bigger, as on my heavy sweat days, I do sweat just outside the line. Agh. However, this shirt does a ton to help combat my overactive sweat glands and protect my outer layers of clothing. It is also very soft and fitted, so makes a great undershirt. I would definitely recommend if you have issues with over-sweating or just need some extra protection on a very hot day.

Anastasia suffers with hyperhydrosis which results in every top(t-shirt, jersey,vest,blouse,dress) armpits soaked with sweat..this tommy tee allowed a cushion that collected all that sweat and left her outer garments dry and makes her more confident not having her worry about others looking at her soaked outergarments..

This shirt was ok. I bought it in a pinch because Amazon would deliver it in time for a work trip of mine. The shirt did prevent sweating through the arm pits, but the pads in the arm pits are very bulky. They make a slight rustling sound when they rub together and if you wear the shirt on its own (I bought the white one) the pads are pretty noticeable. I will buy the Numi undershirt in white instead. That’s my go to sweat proof undershirt, but the shipping takes much longer…

Pretty amazing! I’m always sweating and this really kept my clothes dry. I even felt like my pits were just dryer over all. (Probably because the fabric is right up against them and just constantly wicking sweat) I was even able to wear it a second time before washing, which is a first for me. Will definitely be purchasing many more. For reference I am 5’6”, 135, and purchased an XS. It’s a snug fit but perfect as a base layer under my work clothes.

The shirt itself is made out of a very pleasant, soft, comfortable material, the padding under the arm pits, however, is bulky and NOISY with loud rustling and bunching noises constantly. It had no impact on sweat stains. I'd wear this just as a comfy shirt to sleep in if the padding under the arm pits wasn't so unpleasant feeling and noisy. It creases and bunches. I finally broke down and bought a Numi shirt and the difference is incredible- underarms are soft, comfortable, and it WORKS. I would not recommend this product unfortunately. The pro's would be the fabric and the length and fit, and the fact that it didn't ride up that easily. I am 6 ft, 160 lbs, 34C with a long torso so I have to buy huge sizes just for length. I am a vet and wear scrubs a lot and I can't stand when tucked in layers come out from my bottoms.Save your money and go with Numi, the difference is incredible in feel and performance. I'm attaching my pic of my Numi shirt as well (in expresso). For the comparison, the picture of my scrub sweat stain was wearing this Thompson Tee and being at work for less than an hour not doing anything much physical. The picture of me in the Numi shirt with my outer layer off (because there was nothing to see!), was after I had visited an outdoor garden facility in the summer and then went for a 6.5 mile hike on a humid summer day (again with same deodorant). The numi is about 1 cm shorter in length which does cause it ride up a little more but I'd choose Numi over this any day!

Can’t even wear it. Papery rustling when your arms move and not comfortable. Sadly I missed the window to return. Wish I just tried a numi instead!

Does not work for me. It depends on how much you sweat, but I leaked

I know that these are made in the States and I'm wondering if they're made where there's a lot of tall women. The shirt is so long. Even the v-neck area is super long - half of my boobs come out. The pads under the arms are also really crinkly. It was enough for me to return it.
