Great grow tent - perfect place to start for a beginner
Full disclosure, I purchased this about 2 months ago and currently I'm about 1 month into my first grow. I'll update as I progress and I see fit for adjusting my view of the product. As of now I have few complaints but plenty of foresight for potential buyers. So, I did a ton of research before buying my first grow tent for my very first grow and this was the product I settled on - although I did go up 1 size on the light to a 600W LED just to be safe (more than the recommending site recommended). Honestly, I feel like I could have gone up one more size on the light still. 600W is not overpowering for this space and I do think the plants could handle even more wattage. However, the setup is good and fairly simple.I did heed other reviewer warnings and purchased additional, adjustable light hanging straps. Without buying these separately, you will have no way of using the full height of your tent to adjust your light and that will definitely hamper the end height of your plants. So, that makes this product's "all in one" claim a bit overblown. Not to mention the soil and other things you'll still have to purchase.Aside from this tent, I chose/had to purchase separately:- Clip On oscillating fan for the inside of the tent (for simulated wind/airflow)- Adjustable light hanging straps with clips (as already mentioned)- Fabric pots- Pot saucers to catch runoff water- Pot lifts to keep pot out of standing water in saucers- Thermometer/hygrometer for inside tent- Timers/Smart Plugs for lights/fans - this is a must especially for the lights, don't waste money on a simple garden timer when smart plugs do the same job but can be controlled on your phone or your voice (with Alexa).- Soil/super soil/growing medium- Soil amendments/nutrients- Ph meter- Glasses to wear when working in the tent - the light can be a little blinding- Many other odds and ends that may come depending on whether you start from seed or cloneIMPORTANT - One thing I did not account for, that I wish I would have, is how much the sides of the tent "suck" inward when you have the filter/fan running. If you tighten up all your entry points correctly, the tent will create a sort of vacuum affect that pulls the sides of the ten inward. It may not seem like a lot of space, even looking at it from the outside. However, that lost space easily eats into the square footage space you have inside - so you will NOT have the same amount of space inside as the dimensions of the tent seller provide. Plan for that. Right now my plants are small and just starting out, but as they grow, I anticipate having a (good) problem of the plants getting so large they are constantly touching the outer walls of the tent. Once flowering starts, that may be a problem, all the wonderful crystals could get rubbed off on the tent. Something I'm not happy about and why I'm sending this out as a review for others to consider. I'm even considering building some sort of expandable curtain rod system inside to push the sides of the tent back out to so the plants don't touch the sides. Just a thought at this point, if anyone else has tried it let me know. Given the dimensions you see on the product page, you may assume you can grow 3-4 plants. However, given the amount of space lost with the inward "suck" of the tent, think again. 2 good sized plants is reasonable. 3 is likely pushing it (which is what I'm going to try). 4 is not a good idea in my opinion. Also, those opinions are assuming a 5-7 gallon (smart/fabric) pot for the plants. If you have much smaller pots, you could likely fit more plants in.Final words - Good tent, easy to set up, seems like best value for the money I could find that carried a high recommendation from an external grow site, yet still needs more items to purchase to make it "finished" so don't believe the "all in one" claim. Great place to start though and add on as you see fit. Hopefully this helps anyone else looking to start out!

Works great!
Inside my tent I have a Vick's vaporizer on a sensor to keep the humidity at 40-50% for now (We had low humidity for a bit). I also have a tiny heater inside the tent, also on a sensor, to keep the temp 75-80 degrees F. I have two small fans with clips hanging from the bars at the top of the tent to keep the air flowing and to build stability of the plant. I have one cannabis plant and a basil plant in the tent together and they LOVE IT!!! I think more than 3 plants, in 5 gallon pots, would be too much. I'm going to take the vaporizer out now and I think I can fit another plant in there comfortably for a total of 3. I have the tent in my garage and when temps got super cold I put a down comforter on the top of the tent and covered it with a tarp. It definitely helped retain the heat inside the tent. I think this setup is great for 1-2 plants or to start plants before putting them outside. I'm 100 Happy!

Well-built. Easy setup for the tent itself, but no instructions on how to setup ventilation.
This tent is very well made, and easy to setup, but included no instructions for the venting system. Of note, this kit came in 3 different shipments: 1 for the tent and poles, 1 for the fan unit and attachments, and the last one for the lighting and attachments. And they came on 3 different days. I received all packages within 2 weeks of ordering. Also, do yourself a favor and order the 600W light like I did with this kit. You'll be really glad that you did.PROS: Inexpensive and all-inclusive kit, for the most part, but you will still need to buy your own seeds, or seedlings, grow medium, nutes, oscilating fan, timer, CO2 pads, etc., for whatever you are growing. When the tent is zipped, and the light is on inside the tent, I cannot see any light spillage whatsoever, indicating a light-sealed environment! Rugged zippers and a small footprint overall (2x2x4). Fast delivery.CONS: No instructions, or even links to videos to show one how to set the tent up with the filtration/fan. I asked the seller for specific instructions for this, and was sent generic instructions on assembling a similar fan unit with the vent hoses, but there were no directions on how to install the ventilation inside the tent, etc., so I winged it. But, I have experience growing indoors. I could see a newbie getting really frustrated with the lack of what would amount to a simple 1-page document. It's really strange that they don't include instructions for everything they include with this kit. Maybe they'll see this comment and get on it (although I see other comments on here that say the same thing....so maybe they don't read these reviews?). The light hanger is NOT adjustable, so if you want to raise and/or lower the light, you'll need to order some adjustable grow light hangers. The fan is really loud, even when using a separate fan controller on its lowest setting (which, like the light hangers, I had to buy the fan controller separately) and kinda bulky. The fan on the light unit is also really very squeaky on start up, and then remains kinds loud, easily heard from inside the tent. I may need to buy a different, quieter 4-inch fan. From the pics you can see that I opted to set my fan unit OUTSIDE the tent so that I would have more room inside for my home-made hydroponic setup and an additional oscillating fan for air circulation inside the tent itself (the oscillating fan was purchased separately), which has really helped. Or course, installing the main fan unit outside, and on top of, the tent is noisier than it would be inside the tent, but the separate fan controller I bought helps in this regard. But the fan is louder than I would like, regardless. I planted some seeds in a couple starter plugs last week and they are already sprouted into seedlings inside the tent, so I am well on my way. The 2 "extra" smaller frame bars that I saw in another review of this kit are supposed to be there. They are not extra, but actually fit across the top of the tent (inside) from which you can hang your light, etc., and I will use these support bars when securing a plant support for each tomato plant as they grow and start to want to lean.Overall, I am happy with this tent kit and would order it again.

Best bang for buck.
For under $300 this tent is great. Not too hard to set up. Even solo. The light is enough. The filter fan really isn’t that loud and comes with plenty of distance. Actually impressed with it. Hope it will last a few grows. Like the tent a lot.
