Needed to hook up the church lapel mic to the laptop for zoom meetings. Plugged the lapel receiver box's male XLR cable (originally in the mixing desk) into this new female to usb one and hooked it directly into the laptop. Vicar now able to wander around the church for communion etc and we can now hear him. Now off to look for a better camera than just the laptop one ... :-)

Very good cable. Used on a £50 condenser all my friends thought I was on BBC Radio 1 when we were on Discord the sound is that great.

this is a great solution for conneting a microphone to a lap top via USB instead of faffing about with the 4 pin connectors that you usually get for audio connections.and it worked prefectly straight out of the packet and quality was good,However i struggled to get enough gain out of the connection. i tried several iterations of top quality mics from Shure and Sennheiser (dynamic not condensor) but had to resort to an external mixer in order for the mic to make enough impact to register solidly when using the windows audio test features.

I have had this cable for almost over 6 months and had no issues yet.

It worked satisfactorily -- but when I withdrew the USB plug it disintegrated and half of it remained in the socket. Dead loss.

As others have mentioned, even with a decent condenser mic the level is very low. The noise isn’t fantastic either, but for the price hard to complain.

Pensavo che bastasse collegare il microfono a condensatore con questo cavo al pc per poterlo utilizzare ma non basta. Il pc lo rileva, tutto funziona alla perfezione ma come scritto anche nella descrizione (per una volta che non l'ho letta...) per i microfoni a condensatore serve l'alimentazione phantom che è presente solitamente nelle schede audio dedicate.Il cavo comunque funziona alla perfezione e infatti il computer lo ha rilevato senza problemi.

Super Kabel habe mein Kondensator Mikrophon damit an meinen Computer angeschlossen die Qualität ist super.Alle die gesagt haben man könnte das Mikro nicht lauter stellen mit dem Kabel stimmt nicht. Ganz einfach in die Soundeinstellungen dann bei dem Eingabe gerät auf „Geräteeigenschaften“ und einfach den Regler nach rechts ziehen. Super Kabel im Gesamten !
