Bosch BCH6ATH25 Athlet

Love it! Love it! How did I manage without it. Suction is brilliant, lightweight, handsome,just great!It was a toss up between this or another,so glad I chose this Boch Athlet.Picks up the cat hairs,my big mat never looked so good,hard floors well tiles in my case,even at the edges.One charge lasts me three days of vacuuming all through.You won't be dissapointed!

A wonderful little machine and compliments my other two Bosch vacuum cleaners which are an upright and a silent cylinder.

Light, powerful, manoeuvrable, it is so easy to use. On full power ('turbo') lasts about 30 minutes on a charge but is so quick to recharge. Easy to empty and really thoroughly cleans, first time I used it after my old vacuum cleaner it filled up very quickly as seemed to be deep cleaning. Runs smoothly from hard floors to carpet, in fact, very difficult to fault. Just be careful that the accessories kit is included as it isn't from some sellers, and adds £50 to price if bought separately. I have already demonstrated and recommended to a friend as it does exactly what is advertised.

3 kilogram does not sound very heavy but if you're an older person it's very heavy when using the hand held section. It's also not easy pushing the buttons to release the parts. I'm not happy with it, the hand held section is hard work because of the weight especially on stairs. The suction is OK but could be better, it isn't happy on my rugs, it will only go in one direction. Good at picking up dust etc, but does not like picking up crumbs etc. ie. my cat's crunchies when she spills them. I tried contacting Bosch with the problems and had a 3/4 email conversation with them but they really did not want to bother with customer satisfaction! So nothing came of that. I would suggest buying another cordless brand, make sure you test the weight and separation parts in the shop. Also take a few biscuit crumbs to test on. It is probably fine for a second vacuum for a quick whip round but for an older person trying to make the job easier I would suggest another brand. I'm not happy with my lot here.

Very effective vacuum, light, easy to use and lifts a considerable amount of dirt and dust. Good on carpet or vinyl/wooden floors.Very happy with it.

excellent cleaner

Wow what a machine! Just thought it would be okay, but boy was I wrong.It cleans efficiently I have a Sebo which I thought was ace but using this machin AFTER I have vacuumed so much more comes out of the carpets an I vacuum every day. The tool attachment is a little difficult to attach, you have to take the brush section off and click into place the adapter, if you are having trouble with gripping you might find it hard to push the button to release the attachments, but as a floor vacuum its brilliant.If you use it on the top speed, recommend for carpets, obviously will drain the battery, it lasts about 30mins, but its plenty of time to do your work also charging is simple, the only thing is when charging it gives off a bright blue light in the symbol of the battery abd I tape a piece of paper over it as it lightsup the bedroom I keep it in. Yes I would recommend it as back up vacuum, I keep mind upstairs, saves me dragging the Sebo upstair....
