Easy to fit and use second switch I’ve had

I have read lots of reviews about theTrendi light and plug switches. And it’s hard to find any negative reviews.They look smart against my new painted walls. They feel solid and the switch’s have a nice click to them. I will be replacing all my lights and plugs with these as I go along.And they are cheaper on here than anywhere else.

I live in an old cottage which has no earth wire in the lighting circuit. The house needs an entire re-wire, but I want to move so don't want to spend thousands doing it.I can use metal lights if they are IP44 rated (ie for use in bathrooms) as these don't need earthing, but I've been stuck with boring, white plastic light switches as nobody made coloured plastic switches and all metal switches need earthing. I couldn't believe my luck when I came across these plastic switches which don't need an earth wire!Wiring using the old system is confusing though and Youtube doesn't help as it only ever shows the new wiring colours, so I'm including a photo showing my set up and how I wired the double Trendi Switch.These switches are excellent value for money and look lovely when installed. I'm only giving 4 stars, though, as I found getting the plate off to wire the switch tricky (I was petrified I was going to snap the casing) and the instructions were inadequate (I had to go on the internet to find out how it came off). Other than that I love these switches and will eventually be putting them through my whole house. I wish the rocker came in a gold colour though as I didn't want silver, but hopefully the company will extend the range at some stage.

Good value for money n quality

Decorated with dark blue & gold wallpaper. The original light switch being white stuck out like a sore thumb! This navy blue switch looks perfect.

This product was bought to replace a drab plain white switch which had broken - I hadn't heard of the brand before so I had some reservations.The packaging was sufficient to protect the product and the switch arrived the next day. The switch itself was extremely easy to install and the screws are long enough to reach a fairly deep back box. The cover plate is robust and is easy to both attach and remove (which is great for when you plan to plate) and the switches are nice and responsive.The gloss black goes very well with the silver switches and I really love the styling. I liked the switch enough that I updated all of my wall sockets to match.

Nice finish but a switches a bit noisy
