Great to have options
I haven't had an opportunity to put this to use yet. I'm sure that day will come, as I am an HVAC-R service technician. I love knowing that instead of running 100+ feet of cord, I can pull power from a disconnect box, to get the job done. I highly suggest, you understand how to test for power and determine what voltage you are dealing with, before purchasing this item. It can easily harm you or your equipment, if you dont understand how to properly use it.

Why wouldn't you want one of these?
This is a must for every tech to have. I am a maintenance supervisor an have over 350 HVAC units to take care of. This is a fast and easy way to get power to run a vacuum or a recover machine. I'm glad another tech showed me this tool.9/15/2020 - I've used it three times already and I like it more and more each time. No running extension cords, or finding a place to plug in. The place to plug in is on the unit next to me! GET IT!!! ITS A MUST HAVE!!!

No more extensions cords
It is nice not having to bring out the extension cord everytime i need power at a condenser The gator clips has a good amount of tension. Seems to be sturdy and holds the wire tight
