This unit was purchased to install a Jurassic Park film recreation plate on the front of a themed Jeep. It did the job and it's essentially the only product like it that's readily available. That being said, I do understand that they can set whatever price they choose and obviously someone will buy it (I did,) but I'm still not real happy about what I paid. Once I received the product, it became more clear that there really is nothing special about this. It's a couple of pieces of metal, more than likely computer machined and given a quick powder coat. I can't imagine it's more than $15 worth of materials at a high estimate. I don't have the equipment however, so I guess it is what it is. Installed like they said, it does feel durable, and it looks fine. So, I like it, but I can't recommend it unless the buyer has an extreme need for it.

This appealed to me because it doesn't require drilling holes in the front of the bumper. I live in a state that requires front license plates, and I do a good bit of off roading, so this appealed because I can quickly and easily remove my front plate when offroading, as it's easy to bash up a front plate off road, and it doesn't leave unsightly holes on the front bumper. It's a high quality product, but pricey for what it is, which the price is the only reason I gave this 4 instead of 5 stars. Having said that, it met my needs perfectly and I would recommend it. It was a quick and easy installation, too.
