King's Brand Coat Rack

We don't have an entryway, the door opens right into the living room, so we needed something unobtrusive and fairly nice looking to hold coats, purses, and everything else we want to grab as we head out the door.This totally fits the bill. It looks nice, we can put things we need by the door without it looking cluttered, and it's a central location for everything we take to work daily. I have a plant on the top shelf and a decorative bin, which we use to put sunscreen, bugspray, extra chapstick and all the other things you sometimes but not always need when you go somewhere.It was tricky to put together. I tried by myself, but my husband wound up helping me because everything was just a half a centimeter off, so someone had to press hard on the parts to get the to align while the other one tightened the screw. We had one defective part. We took a photo, and the company quickly sent us another. It was annoying to take part of it apart and put it back together, but they were nice about it . I looked and looked for a similar product and just could not find anything near this price! So I understand you sacrifice a little with price.Stability: can you sit on the seat and lean back? I wouldn't. But can you sit there to put on shoes, or sit there awhile and not lean back, absolutely. I wouldn't put a backpack full of books on the coat rack, but I am not worried about our winter coats.All in all, we're very happy.

I was interested in a coat rack but one that was more than just a stick for coats to hang, I enjoyed that it had an open shelf at the top and several at the bottom, plus a seat and hooks on the back of the seat. Just so much space to use. I have my scarves folded at the top my winter boots/shoes at the bottom, my hats on the smaller hooks, and jackets on the side coat rack. I was however very disappointed when my boyfriend's leather jacket broke one of the spikes on the coat rack. Granted that thing is a heavy leather jacket but I still expected it would handle the stress of the weight. It was sad because it was shortly after I bought it. I still have the leather jacket on the rack but we are just very careful not to yank it off the rack or throwing it roughly on the rack. Overall it was helped organize space, things are not thrown on the kitchen chairs or living room floor. So I would still recommend it .

My husband and I had to strong arm force the pieces together because the screw holes didn't line up, but we got it together eventually. It looks nice and is sturdy enough to hold heavy jackets and a decent amount of space for our shoes at the bottom. I like the shelf at the top for ball caps.

This took a bit of time to put together but was not difficult. I did it by myself without any problem. It is perfect for our entrance. The seat color is a nice neutral color but the fabric could easily be replaced if you wanted something different. It has places for hats, keys, umbrellas, dog leashes, jackets etc. We've been careful not to hang anything to heavy on the long hooks, due to reading reviews from others about things breaking off, and so far we've had no problems. I added matching decorative baskets on the top shelf and one of the lower shelves for storing gloves, scarves, or whatever. Love being able to swap out slippers and shoes by storing the most worn ones on lowest shelf, while still keeping everything neat!

I've had this piece for about 3 weeks now.... it seems to be durable and of good quality so far. No real complaints about assembly (and this is from someone who writes instruction manuals for a living!). I was able to put it together by myself with no trouble and no help needed. My only modification was that I left out installing the middle shelf in the bottom section. This is because I place a bin for my outgoing recyclables on the left side (under the coat tree) on the bottom shelf (see my photo). I love that I can drop the recyclables right into the bin from the open top (where you see the 'X' bars in the photo) without having to draw out the bin to do so. It's the main reason I bought this unit. And it was the perfect footprint size, width and height for my mudroom with its low ceiling. I'm very satisfied and would buy this brand's products again! =]

I had this stand on my wish list forever but was worried about the stability and structure.... now that I've bought it I feel like an idiot for waiting so long. Its VERY sturdy and looks amazing. Of the numerous stands I looked at this one was the most stylish and had the most shelved for shoes and other items. I love the hanging tree AND hooks, and the inclusion of a seat so I don't fall all over my foyer trying to get my shoes one.The only disappointment was that the shelved aren't very high and aren't good for holding my tall winter boots, which I did not consider beforehand. However those sit on a towel right next to the stand just fine.I love this and highly recommend it to anyone who wants a sturdy stand with seat and lots of space for shoes, coats, scarves, gloves, hats, keys, purses.......

So happy I bought this! It was exactly what I wanted and fits perfectly in my entryway. It looks even bigger in person, pretty sturdy and very well made. I think it'll last for a good while, and has a lot of space for shoes, coats and anything else you may need. It was pretty easy to put together, just took a bit to organize with the different parts and screws and such. But I definitely recommend this!
