Built-in stretch gives these women's Carhartt canvas pants a comfortable, easy-moving feel. Midweight canvas and a stretch waistband offer everyday comfort. Their relaxed fit means a little extra room in the seat and thigh for easy movement.

UPDATED: Holes after 2 mos. Here's some fit/sizing feedback...
UPDATE #2.After casual wear, these have a hole in the thigh. Didn’t get caught on anything and wasn’t torn. It’s just worn. Not cool for ‘work’ pants only worn a couple months. C’mon Carhartt, do betterUPDATE:So, these are nice and fitted after a wash, but at the end of the first day, and after a few days of wearing, they definitely loosened up. Notably, the crotch sags a bit. I still love the pants, and appreciate the stretch, which is great for crouching down, bending over, carrying things, etc, but wanted to clarify that these really are 'relaxed fit' after a few hours of wear._______________________So, relaxed fit means different things to different people, so I'll try to help clarify via my experience. I bought these in size 6 regular, thinking they'd be loose and a little long. I'm 5'7, about 130 or so. After one wash, these pants fit me exactly. The length is perfect. The fit is not in any way 'relaxed' or loose. (I'm *not* a skinny jeans person). These are definitely form fitted, but aren't tight like skinny pants...but for someone who wears regular pants, it feels kind of close to 'skinny'. The stretch in the pants makes them very comfortable. The rise is between low and high - sits right below the navel. I'm keeping them. They may end up being my favorite pants....

Thick, good fit
Pants fit well. Material is thick. Small side pocket on one leg. Nice deep pockets at the waist.

Cute, comfortable pant
I love the relaxed fit that isn't baggy, the fabric and the pant detailing. The pant was just what I was looking for - sits right below my navel and the short length option was just right for my height. I am 5'3", 118 lbs with a little junk in the trunk. I bought size 4 short and after washing they were perfect everywhere. Am buying another pair. If I was going to change anything I might add 3/4-1" on the rise, without tightening the waist - I think it would look better when I have to tuck in my shirt.

Great work pants
I have two relaxed fit carhartt work pants which are comfortable but can be quite baggy, so I wanted to try a more fitted pair of carhartts and got these and they fit great! They’re much more form fitting around my waist, butt, and legs but not tight like skinny jeans. Highly recommend and will get more! The thing that I like about the relaxed fit pants (not these) is that there’s plenty of room to wear a thermal layer under it. If you wear a thermal layer under these, they can get too tight

Sizing is weird
Tried these exact ones on in the store in a size 8 and a size 10. I went for the 10 because the 8 was way too tight. Then went and ordered the size 10 because the store didn’t have the color I needed. The 10 fits like an 8. Extremely tight and uncomfortable. Weird cause I tried them on in store and they fit fine.

Inconsistent sizing
I want to give these pants 5 stars, but I have had such a problem ordering the right size.I had size 6, Carhartt slim fitting pants, that were too tight. 6 is the size I wear in my best fitting jeans and pants. So I then ordered my next pair in a size 8. These do not stay up without a belt. I then bought some lined Carhartts in a size 6. These fit comfortably. Now onto my current purchase: I ordered a 6...I could button them, but they were NOT comfortable at all. Way too tight in the waist. I returned them a replaced them with an 8. These fit pretty well upon trying them on. After a full day of working in them they became loose and saggy. Still more comfortable than being too tight, but how the frickin heck am I supposed to know what size to order when NONE of them have been the same?! I really like carhartt and think they are well made, but this is getting annoying.Work pants need to be comfortable and not something I'm pulling up all day or fighting to even move around in. With a size 6 being too small (sometimes)and an 8 being too big (or stretching from a point of comfortability to being too big), I'm left in the middle with no idea what size is needed. Consistency is key, Carhartt!
