I chose this item because it was the smallest dehydrator I could find. I've used it to dry cherry halves and whole grapes. It worked very well. It is taking up a small amount if storage space until next season. Also a very good price.

I've been on the hunt for a dehydrator for awhile but wasn't finding much in my price range. I read through the reviews on this one and was a bit leery to get it but I'm glad I did. I have used it a ton since I got it & it has worked great. The temp seems to be spot on & I'm actually finding that my stuff is dry 2 to 4 hours sooner than I was expecting. Only complaint I can think of is it's a bit noisy.

Left my huge, very old, noisy dehydrator behind when I moved to a really small apartment. The collapsible issue doesn't make much of a difference as far as storage, because it just makes it maybe a couple of inches shorter, but it is smaller than many on the market. I like that it is not round, because round things seem to take up more storage space in the pantry. Since getting it, I've made beautiful sweet potato jerky and dried green beans for my dog (and me). Took a stab at "pickle chips" which turned out to be pickle jerky - but the dehydrator performed fine. As I write this, I have sea salt and vinegar zucchini chips in it, as well as pineapple slices. I threw in a couple slices of carrot just to experiment. I'd recommend it to anyone who doesn't need to dehydrate gallons of slices at one time.

I liked this more than I thought I was going to. I have been using it to dry out peppers and it works amazing. It's not complicated with only a single dial and the reversable trays for adjusting height is clever. You do have to rotate the trays to allow for better dispersal. It's not overly loud either.

Do they all get super hot? This one does.

I've done quite a few batches of "sun dried tomatoes" in this dehydrator. It's saved me so much money in pre-packaged type and far deeper in taste and texture. I look forward to trying different veggies from the garden, as well as apple slices this fall.It's easy enough to clean, although dehydration process with naturally start to discolor the trays a little bit. Clean yes! Stains, can live with.

I was looking for a small and inexpensive dehydrator. This one was cheap, and it works perfectly. What more can you ask for?
