Cheap and High-Yield
I purchased the printer in September and have since gone through almost 6 cartridges, 5 of which are this brand. (The 6th was the one that came with the printer. I have had no issues apart from having to reset the counter manually for the toner on the current cartridge I'm using(See below). I am now replacing the drum unit and have chosen the same brand. For HL-type toner reset:Open the front cover and leave it open while completing the following steps.Turn the printer off.Hold the ‘go’ button (or ‘start’ button) while turning the printer on. All panel lights should be on.Release the ‘go’ button (or ‘start’ button).Press the ‘go’ button (or ‘start’ button) 2 times.Pause. All panel lights should be on.Press the ‘go’ button (or ‘start’ button) 5 times. The toner light should be off (the error may be flashing). The paper light should be on or flashing.Close cover. The ready light should be the only light on.

Inks can be easily wiped off
I bought the toner primary for a printer that I used to print shipping labels. After I printed a label with this toner, and placed a label to a box, I wiped the label with my hand to have it stick better on the box. The printed ink totally came off and the label became totally blurred.Fortunately I wasn't quick enough to throw away the original toner. I placed it back and printed a new label, placed it on a box and wiped it to have it stick better. Almost nothing comes off. The difference in ink quality is quite shocking.By the way the shipping label I used is "Avery" shipping labels, they are of quite good quality and are widely used. The problem is certainly with the toner, not the quality of the label.I'm going to ask to return the toner.

Won't work in brother printer HL-2300
My brother printer doesn't recognize this as a new toner cartridge. The cartridge also has different part on it than the original brother cartridge.

A solid piece of work and easy to operate
This is so well made. Not flimsy like the color/ink/wireless printers out there (I had ordered one but it arrived broken- sigh). THIS is a solid piece of work and I don't care a whit about color. Or wireless. I don't print much at all so don't need massive amounts of ink/toner. It is amazingly simple to operate. Fill the paper drawer. Done. No paper jams caused by simply looking at it. I highly recommend this product!

INEXPENSIVE but LOW-QUALITY Knockoff of a Brother Cartridge
I liked the fact that I could laser print or copy at a lower price per sheet. I liked the fact that it was a high-capacity cartridge. However, if I could afford it, I would have purchased a Brother cartridge instead of this one-of-many CHINESE reverse-engineered products. I will NEVER buy this product again.

They Work
They worked. Didn't have any issues.Hate to say this, but not really anything to differentiate between 1 & 5 stars. Works = 5, doesn't work = 1.Ink was black, coverage was normal and I haven't drained them empty to say yet how well they did print count wise. FYI - If they went dry today I'd say I got my money's worth.

Drum needed to be replaced
It was my first time using this product and I regret it. I had my DCPL2540 for more than 5 year with no issues. I never used any third party Toner Replacement except this time. Everything seemed ok at the beginning but after couple of weeks I noticed a line through the papers I print and soon after I got message to replace DRUM showed up. Now, it takes the printer take 40-60 seconds to bootup before it can print. I will have to change both the drum and the cartridge to official Brother product. I will not use this product again.

Not a suitable replacement
These do not have a full ink cartridge if you have a Brother printer. The printer will display “low toner” right after installation. I do not recommend.
