received within 24 hours from ordering, considering it was standard delivery and near to Christmas this was brilliant. Took a few hours to assemble, but straight forward, after carefully studying the assembly instructions. The bike. after a few miles, developed a knocking when rotating pedals. Contacted kettler who suggested it may be one of the pedals, offered to send set of pedals if necessary. I suggested I use for a while longer to see if the knocking persisted and to what degree as I didn't think it was from the pedals. After a further 20miles, or so, the knocking disappeared and has not returned!!!Overall the general build quality appears to be excellent with an abundance of adjustments. My only criticism is the saddle fixing which does annoyingly continually squeaks when pedalling at any great speed.The computer panel readout is excellent with a huge variety of programmes and information. My only concern is the distance covered meter, which no matter how much I increase in speed the meter does not appear to correspondently increase in terms of time of the distance covered.

After a lot of research and deliberation I ordered this on Tuesday and it arrived on Thursday! I put it together on Friday after I'd collected the kids from school, it took me half an hour (on my own) and I only needed the tools provided (except for the seat adjustment- I used an adjustable spanner). It was easy to assemble (NB I had no help! My husband doesn't get home 'till late and I was keen to get going on it!!). I don't really understand the reviewers who say it's tricky to assemble- it was a piece of the proverbial!!!Lots of programs and decent resistance (don't expect it to be on a par with the ones you find at the gym- they cost more than 4 times the price of this and are high range) this bike is well worth the money and gives a very good workout!!! The bike is solid, stable and quiet. The dial on the centre stem adjusts the brake via an electrical servo which is easy to use and convenient. A couple of minor quibbles - the pulse meter undercounts pulse rate by a lot (stating 120 when it should be 150), so it's not worth having. I've not tried plugging in a lead-based device to the socket provided, but this would have been a useful accessory, given the handlebar contacts are so poor. The handlebar stem is slightly twisted - manufacturing fault - about 1 degree off - which is noticeable but doesn't affect comfort or performance. The wall-wart and lead could be a bit longer (about 1.7m is OK but slightly restricts positioning).

.Looks pretty, but not at all like my older fantastic Kettler that packed up after 6yrs of fast and furious high intensity pedalling. Parts missing (nothing major enough to send back, but annoying as it's not a cheap piece of equipment). Chose this as I had such a great bike from the company before, but this has awful resistance if you want a decent muscle toning work-out- would get more out of running up and down the stairs. I hate the fiddly computer screen compared to the older version & the blue light constantly on when pedalling is more distracting than helpful. You can't rest your book on the screen like the older version. I'm 5'9'' so yes, long legs but not outside the norm and yet the highest setting is still too short/uncomfortable. Can't adjust the hand rests. My biggest gripe is the tension is just too weak compared to the older, more sturdy version. I used my other one most days. This one practically never. Regret getting it but sunk my equipment fund into it, so I guess I'll just hit the stairs and do some squats in between jogs.

Very easy to assemble and very good solid bike. Does feel like a quality bike that a professional gym would use. Very impressed and very happy with the choice I made.

I bought my Kettler Giro P in January 2015. Today, 5 August 2015, the saddle post sheared horizontally, leaving the machine unusable for the several weeks it will take to get a replacement. The vendor tells me another recent customer has had the same problem and that the reason is that the Giro P is not made in Germany, but the Far East - and indeed it is clear from the cross-section that the saddle post is not made of solid steel but of some mixture with a soft core. Furthermore, it appears Kettler now only send out repair technicians for high-end equipment, which does not include the Giro P. Caveat emptor!

Most of the Assembly instructions are fine, however, the handlebar fixing requires more attention. The locking nut on the handlebar fork stripped its thread so that it was impossible to use or transport as instructed. I am still awaiting the replacement parts. Had this not occurred, my rating would be 5 star for value and equipment

The exercise bike was delivered almost by return. The setting up is relativelt simple but allow longer than the 30/40 mins stated.An excellent product
