Q: What size is the needle for this project?

Hi not sure of size but I use quite a thick needle with a large threading hole! Sorry I cannot be more help.

Q: Does the kit come with all coloured threads?

Yes. The kit comes with everything you'll need to complete the bookmark with the possible exception of spare thread to neaten the edges of the fabric before stitching - that is definitely necessary 
