i just received my containers and feel they are cheaper made then i expected. I haven't used them yet. They appear so thin that using them and dishwasher would melt them. I dont think i would order them again but if they turn out better then my initial review i will update.Update. I have used some of these containers, The deepness of the compartments are very sufficient for portion size. I like that about these and they do not seem as flimsy as i originally thought. I did not have a problem with the lids. They seemed to go on easily enough. I put these in the freezer making left overs into tv dinners. Works well for me.

Update! This company has great costumer service. They contacted me immediately and sent replacement containers for lids that cracked. I’m happy to report that I have not had any issues with the new containers. I have now microwaved my food in the containers with the lid 1/2 way attached and everything comes out great. Washed top shelve in dishwasher and the containers do not distort and come out nice and clean.I would recommend this product. Thank you for your amazing costumer service. I wish more companies cared about their customers as much as yours.

BASA Meal prep container came nicely wrapped in bubble paper when I received it. The size for each portion is reazonable, not too big, not too small. It has three divisions which allows you to organize your food the proper way —> carbs + protein + vegetables. The containers are anti-leak and made of good plastic.... with Good care will last for a long time.* My order never came with the plastic forks (free gift). 😏Los envases para alimentos de BASA llegaron envueltos en paper burbuja protegiéndolos. El tamaño para cada porción es razonable, ni muy grande ni muy pequeño... Los envases tienen tres (3) divisiones lo que hace Perfecto la distribución de los alimentos en carbohidratos + proteína + vegetales. Para su beneficio son anti-liqueos y está hecho de buen plástico que con buen cuidado puede durar mucho tiempo.* Con la orden nunca recibí los tenedores plásticos que ofrecieron como regalo. 😏

*Edit* I guess I can up my rating for customer service. After I left my review, I was contacted and issued a refund. So while I was not happy with this product, that doesn't mean it won't serve the needs of others. I also looked through the listing and saw no claims of these containers being leakproof now.I guess I can't expect much out of relatively cheap plastic containers.I really don't even use these at all as the compartments are annoying to clean (my opinion), AND THEY ARE NOT LEAK PROOF.They are somewhat flimsy so I would be careful handling and washing if they're hot.Seriously, I've literally gotten better containers from Panda Express and Jack in the Box.They are a decent price so if you want a large quantity of prep containers... I'm sure there's worse out there.

The fact that it comes with 20 is great. But the tops are flimsy and break very easily. Mine came with one cracked out of the box and I have cracked 2 more in just two months of low usage. You have to be careful when opening to make sure you un clip each tab. If you are one to rip the top and dig into your food... it will break it.The water proofing is pretty good for my use (some light liquid like sauce/salsa but haven’t tested soup) . I did have a small leak because I probably didn’t push one of the tabs in properly in a rush. But I’d have to say with previous brands that leak would’ve been a disaster in my backpack. I’d suggest putting in a zipper bag just in case if you carry this sideways.Make the bundle smaller, take out the plastic cutlery you include, or charge more to make the tops more sturdier![update]The company did send additional packets to make up for it so I've added a star for great customer service.

I received these containers about two weeks ago and I used them for work last week for meal prep. They held up in the microwave and dishwasher. I hope they last for awhile. They are cheaper version of the bentos containers. Also, they came with forks which was a great addition.

I purchased these bento box containers because I was catering lunch for 3 days for a group of 10 kayakers. They wanted to make sure their lunches were going to remain dry even though they were also using water tight bags. I was impressed that the covers did seal each section up. The portion size of each section was good for a high protein lunch & snacks. The reason I gave 3 stars is that they are not very reusable. Quite a few of them cracked along the edge of the sections after one use. This group was very specific that I use eco-friendly reusable containers. As much as these did the job I was asking of them (keeping the food dry) I would not buy them again if I were looking for reusable containers. They are great for single use.

I Cook a lot. Family & friends often want to take food home. Some times I eventually get containers back. The cost of saves me money on containers and food. These are Perfect. I also make lunches for husband who goes to work and also often wants an extra dish for friend. The material strong to use again and again. Save space in refrigerator, freezer and cabinets. The 3 side portion is the best thing to have to prepare a healthy meal.
