TFASquare Wireless Weather Station

I have had this for over 2 years and it is still working fine. Although it defaults to CET, it is easy to adjust to UK time (which only has to be done once). The external temperature unit was also easy to set up and synchronised itself with the main unit. The first battery in the external unit did run out, but it was easy to change without removing the unit from from its attached position.Overall a great little system which is so useful for checking the outside temperature before setting out.

I love this little weather station, it is quite sleek and modern looking. Set up was fairly easy, you just have to adjust it 1 hour as the time is set to near Frankfurt instructions are clear and it is easy to do this. It has stayed on this setting correctly unlike some others I have bought which revert back to european time all the time. It says it will work in a range of 1500 km and is working fine for me here in Scotland. The outdoor station was easy to install with the supplied holder and appears to be working correctly. It says the indoor temperature range is -9.9 to +37.8 C and outdoor -39.9 to +59.9 C, so should work fine here. Have taken 1 star off as the display doesn't show the date, otherwise very pleased with this.

It works very well and reliably

Taking its time signal from Germany means it's not GMT and thus needs adjustment. A complete waste of time. Buy one that using the UK time signal, then just let it run, no adjustment. Not Recommended. I returned mine.

I bought this weather station on 28 November 2014.It is very smart,Set up was straightforward but the order of insertion of batteries needs to be correct.The display is crystal clear. Connection with the transmitter took a few minutes but has been consistent between a greenhouse and my kitchen (35 metres). Connection with Frankfurt to set the time occurs between 1 am and 5 am so be prepared to wait overnight. In winter the time has to be set at minus one hour for GMT. In the meantime manual setting is easy. I have not used its alarm clock function.The warning.The transmitter uses 868MHz.So does the weather station used for my other greenhouse, and they conflict with each other. I now have two weather stations (different brands) and they both show exactly the same external temperature data, BUT I DON'T KNOW from which transmitter it is coming. They both lock-in on the stronger of the two signals, and cannot function independently! I will question TFA and Technoline on this for their comments and post them here later.This is a design deficiency meaning that you can't even have two TFA stations because there is no way to alter the frequency of the transmission or the channel, as in older cordless phones.

Die negative Rezension von Ralf R. hat mich dazu gebracht, diese Wetterstationzu bestellen.Wie bei fast allen Wetter-und Temperaturstationen mit Außensender ist es auch bei dieser wichtig, die vorgegebene Zeit für die Übertragung zu beachten. Dabei werden leider zu oft entscheidende Fehler gemacht, so dass vom Außensender nichts angezeigt wird, was die Temperatur betrifft.Ich habe gleichzeitig einen Universal-Außensender als Zusatz mit bestellt und beide an der Station ausprobiert.Es ist zu beachten, dass nach Einlegen der Batterien in den Sendeteil innerhalb von 30 Sekunden die Station mit den Batterien bestückt sein muss. Wartet man nur 30 Sekunden länger, könnte die Übertragung schon nicht mehr funktionieren. Die richtige Reihenfolge, erst die kleine Außen-und dann die Innenstation.Ich habe diese mehrfachen Tests mit beiden Sendern gemacht und jeweils ähnliche Ergebnisse erzielt. Bei längerem Warten zwischen dem Einlegen der Batterien gab es keine Anzeige.Nun funktioniert die Station schon drei Wochen,und obwohl der Sender in etwa 15 m Abstand drei Wände überbrücken muss, gibt es keine Störung..Über die Dauerhaftigkeit der Funktionen kann ich erst später etwas schreiben.Übrigens besitze ich inzwischen 4 Stationen mit Außentemperaturübertragung, wobei die günstigste grade mal 15 € gekostet hat. Werde aber zukünftig Dostmann bevorzugen, weil für die meisten Stationen zusätzlich kompatible Außensender angeboten werden.

No buscaba nada profesional, vi el precio en tienda fisica y aqui eran 10€ menos.El cacharro viene sin pilas.El sensor para exterior viene con sus tacos y tornillos, pero tambien lo puedes pegar, pues lleva una base donde va encajado.La estetica me gusta, el borde es transparente. Tiene un pie con el que poder ponerlo como en la foto si no quieres colgarlo a la pared.En cuanto al pronostico solo indica si va a mejorar o a peor.Guarda maximas y minimas de ambos sensores.Lleva un configurador de hora automatico mediante una señal que no se de donde proviene pero la ha captado, ha tardado en cogerla.

Von 2 Geräten funktioniert nur eines richtig.Das Problem ist der immer wiederkehrende Ausfall der Aussentemperaturanzeige, oder eine falsche Anzeige (4 °C zuviel) Nach dem wiedereinsetzen der Batterien funktioniert alles wieder bis zum nächsten Ausfall.
