I have very much enjoyed reading this series and would recommend them to anyone who enjoys fantasy and dragons. You will not be disappointed

I don't really write review but you can't rate a book without one now. For me books go into three group "Good", "Bad" and "Okay".

I liked seeing Jenna's perspective it was really interesting to see the perspective of the first official female dragon rider and how similar she is to her dad. I'm not going to lie this book did break my heart a little bit at different points and it was hard to go on but I pushed through and loved it! I think that Reighs arc was interesting...I was a little thrown off at one point because the plot seemed to skip ahead a few steps...but going back I think that was for the best. The important things we needed to know we got to know faster. I do think I wanted to hear a little more about some of the other characters but ultimately that probably would have taken over the story too much. Ultimately this was a good second installment.

Awesome series with lots of twists, turns, action, good character development, but a darn cliffhanger! I have added this author to my must read list.

First of all, its 1:46am, and I hate you so so incredible much for that cliffhanger at the endSecondly, this book is again as great as it could be, really submerging me into the story and giving always a tingle to read more of this great legend. Really one of my most loved story's, directly in line with temeraire and wings of fire!!!

Excellent. The characters are well developed. The action is well paced. The story is intense and gripping. I can't wait for the next book. Thank you Nicole Conway.
