Indispensable
These are the gold standard in line levels. They don’t fall off a line like those with plastic parts. When I go overseas for work, I always bring some as gifts for the crew—in some places they are impossible to find. Having a few extras in my kit has saved a lot of time.

Basic lien level
I used these for laying out my deck. These are very economical price is very cheap and works. These work great for setting up strings for a deck.

very accurate
The Stanley line level is very accurate. In the attached photo, the Stanley is on the bottom (of course). The next one up is a Husky torpedo level and the top one is a DeWalt torpedo level. You can see how the Stanley compares to the other two. Very pleased.

Great Level for Long Spans.
Simple to use and dependable. No complaints at all. I used this level with string to level batter boards that had span longer than my 8 ft. aluminum level could reach.

Much superior to the cheaper plastic line level.
Liked its durability (light aluminum). Price was three times that of the plastic line level.

Preferred over composites/plastics
Ive have gone through numbers of the plastic and composite levels. Because of how they are constructed, they cannot be adjusted. These metal levels are accurate out of the box because the levels themselves during manufacturing are inserted down the opening maintaining equal pressure on each side. The metal hooks allow for fine adjustment if needed. Very pleased

A tool worth owning in the laser age
I have 30 plus years in the concrete trades and have always carried a line level. I own two rotary lasers, a visible light laser, just about every Stabila made including the electronic 4 footer and in certain situations I go for the line level. In certain situations they can't be beat for speed and they are accurate enough for eliminating puddles or just getting a quick read on the lay of the land. They also allow quick solo checks without having to set up an instrument. I would not use one for actually leveling anything or for figuring an important slope. In short runs, a regular level is more accurate and lasers are the better choice for making sure forms are level. But for a few bucks, I keep one of these in my apron and in every truck.

My go-to line level!
Tired of other line levels falling off the line while measuring, I couldn't be happier. The aluminum tabs do require care as repeated bending will snap them eventually. The solution: don't bend them! You'll easily get your money's worth.Save yourself the headache of plastic levels, for the price it's worth it.

great
well made, works as expected, metal hooks seems a bit soft, they bend and may break over time

Sturdy and Accurate
What more can i say, other than if your looking for a line level, to hook onto a line for bricklaying etc. this more than fits the bill, accurate, sturdy metal construction, with hooks that look as though they will stand the test of time. As I say if you need one this is a good one.
