Better value than WeatherTech!
My wife's Acadia came with WeatherTech floor mats, and I liked how they were form-fitting and had deep wells to keep water or dirt from rolling out into your carpet. I was about to buy a set of WeatherTech mats for my Sierra, but I saw these before I bought them. The price was less than the WeatherTech mats, but I did a Google search for a comparison between the two to see if they could really compare. My search results led me to a Jeep owner's forum, specifically an off-road Jeep owner's forum. And if there's any group that can say they've put floor mats through a torture test, it's the off-road crowd. Most everyone agreed that there was little difference in the quality between the two brands, it mostly seemed to be personal preference. But the one comment that sold me was one of the guys talking about the raised pattern in these mats, and how they keep his pant legs from soaking up melted snow water. I had had that issue in my wife's car with her WeatherTech mats: the floor mat is basically flat, so the back of my pant leg is in contact with the floor of the mat, and tends to get wet when the snow that was on my shoes melts.I liked how these looked, they had a more rugged style to them than the WeatherTech, and given the comments from the Jeep forum, I figured they would be worth the price. Once installed, they fit perfectly formed to the footwells of my truck, so there's absolutely no sliding around. As noted on the Jeep forum, the raised pattern really does help keep your feet and pant cuffs above the dirt and water tracked in on your shoes. These mats do a fantastic job of protecting your vehicle's carpets, and look great while doing it. I'll definitely order another set for any future vehicles I own.

Impressed with Rugged Ridge for Chevy Tahoe
Replacing over-priced, over-hyped WeatherTech floor mats for a 2003 Chevy Tahoe, I'm very impressed so far with the two front mats from Rugged Ridge. The best thing about them so far is that these guys DON'T MOVE, and I haven't even bothered with the accessory to keep them in place. I used to have Husky liners, which were mostly good, but slid around a bit, but when those started to wear out I thought I'd be upgrading to the best with WeatherTechs. First of all, the WeatherTechs never precisely fit the contours with the "laser precision" they advertise, then on top of that, they eventually started to warp even more out of shape after just a year. And I could never get WeatherTechs to stay in place like any floor mat or liner should. I almost went back to the Husky brand but then I saw another Amazon reviewer recommending Rugged Ridge. They have a quality feel, fit snuggly, and like I said, best of all they stay put, which is a big relief.Money well spent so far.

05’ Chev 2500HD crew cab
Would have been 5 stars but as you can see in pics. 1: That the mats partially hang over plastic floor molding, seems like it should tuck against the molding (not bothered by it) 2: In drivers mat there is a hook hole in the mat if your vehicle has a carpet hook to hold mat in place, seems like there should be a pluck if your vehicle does not have a carpet hook (also not bothered by it).Other then those small issues mats fit perfect and does not slide, used them on the hunt this past weekend and held mud and snow met great.

Had to reorder but happy with purchase.
I ordered these and received a used set of mats but returned and reordered. Took an extra week but when I received my new set I was very pleased. They look great and seem to be of good quality.

Fantastic floor protection for 2004 GMC Sierra 1500 extended cab pickup
I have owned a number of different floor mats, including Catch-Alls, WeatherTech Digital Fit, and others for use in my 2004 GMC Sierra with center front console and two other GM trucks (2002 Chevy Tahoe and 2000 Chevy Suburban), and these Rugged Ridge mats currently used in the 2004 Sierra ext. cab. are by far the best. The material seems to be extra durable and conforms beautifully to the contours of the floor of the vehicle.A favorite among truck owners in general is the WeatherTechs, with their "carry-over-the-sill" functionality and appearance, but these Rugged Ridge mats - at least in the front seat area - extend nicely over the sill plates, so the carpet in that area is totally protected. Furthermore, any spills are completely contained by the raised edge which forms the perimeter of the Rugged Ridge mat, rather than being diverted toward the closed door. The only very minor potential weakness in this containment appears to be around the "Rugged Ridge" emblem which visible in the product pictures. Although the potential leak point around the emblem's mounting point is raised above the mats lowest surfaces, it is still lower than the perimeter containment ridges. But this would likely take a very, very big spill to be tested so it is probably not really worth mentioning. What I especially like about these Rugged Ridge mats is that they have proper "nibs" on the other side which absolutely stop the mats from shifting under passengers' feet. My older Husky-brand floor liners had similar nibs, but the Husky's suffered from a much less finished appearance than these RR's, particularly along the edges. Conversely, my biggest criticism of the Catch-All and Digital Fit mats is that they don't have nibs, instead relying on provided carpet screws which the user has to twist through the carpet to secure the mat to the factory floor covering. My personal experience is that these screws have limited reliability, not to mention the potential they have for damaging the carpet and pad underneath. In fact, my previous WeatherTech Digital floor mats for the front of my GMC Sierra used only one such screw for the driver side mat, and had NO similar or other provision to secure the passenger side mat, which would move all over the place! With this said, I would only purchase Weather Techs in the future for a vehicle equipped with a factory floor mat hook or post. The extended cab rear seat compartment Rugged Ridge mat has similar virtues, although it just barely reaches the sill plates at the side, so the protection at the edges might not be quite as reliable as that experienced in the front compartment. Also, although the backseat mat is one piece, with a portion covering the transmission hump in the floor's center position, the edges of that center portion are not raised, so any spills that occur there might drain onto the carpet covering that hump. But that is a very minor criticism, and I appreciate the fact that the rear seat mat provides at least some protection in the center positon. Also, the rear seat mat is fully compatible with the factory GM underseat storage compartment my truck is equipped with. The flip side of this is that for similar trucks not equipped with the storage compartment, buyer's should be aware that these RR mats do not extend to the carpeted area under the rear seat (the WeatherTech mats do offer this capability with a choice of "short" or "long" mats). For me, these Rugged Ridge mats offer the best overall floor mat package!
