Outstanding product. Great support from vendor. Does exactly what the product description states.
Very nice product. The install could not have been easier. Once I got the correct equipment in the xmit and receive positions, all works well over network cables. I connected my living room DTV to this device using an HDMI splitter and now I can watch DTV on my basement large projection screen. I can even use my programmable remote in my basement to change and control DTV.This is exactly what it says and does what it needed to do. It has saved me a small bundle by allowing me to watch TV in my man cave without expensive HDMI cables or another cable box. I may have to purchase another receiver for an additional bedroom TV.BTW - I had an install issue, which was due to my installer (me). I sent the seller my issues via email. They responded within an hour. Wow, what great customer service.

Very impressed so far!
I bought one of the "up to 150m" transmitter/receiver pairs and two extra receivers. I used them to get high-def video for our church Vacation Bible School that's coming up, and they work great! We had two HDTVs in the front of the church and one in the back, but they were running them with the church's computer on old VGA cables, and it was blurry. These are crystal clear and play full 1080p video and sound perfectly. These units along with two 75-ft Cat6 cables, one 50-ft Cat6 cable, and one cheap, unmanaged gigabit switch, and we were up and running for around two hundred bucks. Very impressed so far!.

NOT AT ALL happy with these
Update: the IR transmitters are not dependable. Have had to replace two of these units as the reset button did not resolve the issue . The receiver seems to be working fine for video but not for infrared.Old review:Pretty happy with this. Bought four pairs and found out I really only needed one transmitter and four receivers. Minimal artifacts noticable. Connected transmitter to a 5 port gigabit switch, and ran four cat 6 from the switch to each TV in the house. Was able to view cable box in the living room on a TV a hundred feet away and change the channel on the box in the other room. Couldn't be happier

I got my package today and on the outside of the package it has a label bigger than any other label that read bad transmitter. I open the box to see what the deal is and inside it has a label on the transmitter that reads bad transmitter. Hmmm. I mean quality control is a thing of the past. The reviews are good. I wanted to post this to show that it was a big waste of time. Pet peeve is to have to do stuff twice. I mean things do go bad but this one is labeled Bad Transmitter. I will update when someone answers my email to the seller.

The picture quality is good but freezes randomly and audio cuts out continuously
Connected the transmitter unit to the receiver unit with a 50 foot SHIELDED (STP) CAT 6 CABLE. The picture quality is good but freezes randomly and audio cuts out continuously. Tried a second network cable just to make sure, no improvement. Not sure what needs to be used to get 492 feet. I can't get them to work at 50 feet. Wish it worked...but no luck.

Works great. I've used these to transmit HDMI over Cat 6 cables all over my house. I use a single dual tuner Sat receiver and can now view and control (RF remotes) from any location. The verdict is still out on the IR control with this extender. I didn't end up using it and what little time I spent trying to get it working may not have done it justice. Still love the product.

Unstable signal - had to return my order
The video output of this extender was unstable. In case the problem was with my equipment, I tried using different video connections for the transmitter (two different HDMI cameras as well as the HDMI output from a laptop), and also tried connecting different monitors to the receiver. I also tried different cables. Initially I was using a 100 foot CAT 6 cable to connect the transmitter and receiver, but switched to a 50 foot CAT 5. The result was always the same: an unstable signal that flickered and shifted. I sent it back for a refund.

Great product which I have now two years
I had this product now for two years or so and it’s still going except one started to act strange but it could be my HDMI cable. I would still buy theses over again which I am . Great Product
