Work relatively well, but expect to spend a little more time than you might think
I like this product, but maybe my expectations for how easy it would be to use were too high. From Bluelounge's video, it looks like a really simple and smooth process, but it's not quite as seamless as that. It does work fairly well for what I needed, but it took a great deal more time that I was expecting to dedicate to hiding the cables from my tv. The one thing I really wish is that they offered this product in different sizes, because I definitely needed something larger and ended up having to use two strips for my cables when I would've preferred them to all be in the same tube. This isn't really a fault with the product, just something I wish Bluelounge would offer in the future. Bottom line, it works well, but probably works best for smaller caliber cables like USB.

Good materials as a whole. "Zipper" part is a flop. Mounting parts can't handle the weight.
While the materials this is all made out of are good. There are a couple problems with the whole package. When it comes to the "Zipper" part of the package, that is supposed to open up the sleeve in order to lay down any cables, it just doesn't cut it despite how good of an idea it may seem to be. Even though I looked over the little instructions several times, the sleeve kept bundling up inside of the zipper part. When using the Zipper, it didn't always put one flap of the sleeve over the other, it ended up alternating, which just created a non-uniform seam in the sleeve that isn't there when you just open the box, and the seam isn't needed to be there. I ended up having to give up halfway through the cables that I was putting inside the sleeve, and just opening up the sleeve by hand to lay down the wires. I think if the zipper part is refined, it can work just fine, but as is, it doesn't seem to work properly. The wall/desk mounting directing parts are good if you just plan on putting a couple of small/thin USB cables inside the sleeve, but doesn't hold up if you put in any thicker/heavier cables. While the actual 3M sticky portion of the mounting parts holds on very well, trying to mount the sleeve to the bottom of my desk with pretty generic monitor and power cables inside, the caps on the mounting parts don't hold on to the base well enough. They will hold on for a couple of hours, and then disconnect, allowing for the sleeve to awkwardly hang with the tension of the wires inside beneath my desk. I will likely need to run heavy duty tape, or something else, to reinforce these parts to allow them to hold the sleeve properly to the bottom of my desk. If there was an actual way to securely lock the mounting parts, that could help immensely, rather than hoping that the top and bottom pieces fit together well enough that the friction keeps them together.

So Organized!
I went HAM on my office with three set of these, and it’s so much better now. It’s not the cheapest cable sleeve, but I think it’s very much worth it.I bundled the cables from my KVM to each computer, so that’s two HDMI cables and a USB cable that’s about the same thickness. The three of them just barely fit in it. I had to frequently massage it as I zipped the cables in to keep one from peeking out. And as far as the plastic finishing pieces that you can use to cap off the sleeve nicely, they weren’t even close to fitting. But for other bundles with fewer or smaller cables, it worked quite well, including the plastic caps for the ends, which really give it a nice finished look.If you hate cable clutter, these are great.

Good but not a complete solution. Deployment requires design. Pieces should be sold a la carte.
A decent product probably correctly rated on aggregate at 3.5. Harder to deploy than the videos show. Requires up front design work. The Ribbon won't accommodate more than two (2) "thick" cables such as cat-5 or coax or many power chords. The "bundled" group of piece-parts sold in this single package probably won't precisely accommodate most configurations. It would be better if BlueLounge sold piece-parts a la carte so users could buy more and less of what they need. For me, the Y-pieces and the fasteners werent particularly useful. The ribbon cable is very useful, and it would be nice if BlueLounge sold rolls of that alone. Even if you buy this product, you will need fasteners and other elements to complete your design.

From mess to awesomeness..
I really like the Cable Director. It has let me clean up the cables which run up to my TV which is mounted on the wall above my fireplace. On the mantle I have a Wii U, Sonos Soundbar and Apple TV. All of the cables run up to the TV and are encased in the Cable Director. My only real gripe is that they are pretty stingy with end pieces. I always wind up with a lot of the cable "tubing" when I am done setting up a new cable system (I've used this before for computer equipment). For the amount of money which this costs, adding in some extra plastic clips would be greatly appreciated.Despite my gripe, this is a great product to get when you have unsightly cable messes which are visible. It's a simple and solid system.

Never again
I read the reviews about not being easy to set up. I though: “How difficult can it be threading cables through a tube?9 Well, let me tell you VERY DIFFICULT! First, it is very hard to thread the fabric through the ring that’s supposed to act as a zipper. The tube is so tightly coiled so as you thread the cables is very difficult to close. Parts of the cables do come out and you have to push them back again. I lost track of time how long it took me to set up. Suffice to say that hubby came home and we had to order pizza. I can’t imagine having to do the whole thing over again when one of the phone cables have to be replaced. When that happens, I’ll be throwing it in the garbage.Edit: Two days after setting it up I took the cables out and threw the whole thing in the garbage. It’s not good for hiding phone cables because it is too rigid and it is hard to maneuver the cables.

Good product, but a bit difficult to figure out at first.
With the goal of trying to keep my home office more cable organised, I decided to start by purchasing the BlueLounge SOBA, after receiving the item it did take me a little while to figure out how to set it up, it was rather fiddly and the instructions weren't the most clear I've ever seen. After successfully getting the SOBA set up at my desk, I must say it does do a good job of hiding the cables, you will however probably need to purchase more than one of these if you were trying to cover an area with a few cables routing to different areas, but if you're only really trying to hide a couple of cables, one should do just fine. Overall though this is definitely a good item and worth buying if you are looking to get rid of messy cables.

Tidies cables into a professional-looking bundle
Does a great job organising a few cables into a single wrapped tube - the caps and splitter give the end result a polished look. The attachments also have a sticky pad on the back which can help with routing the cables, in my case I stuck it to a wall to help direct the tube between two units.Like other reviews mention the tube is narrow (1cm or so diameter when zipped) so cannot fit many cables and will not be suitable for all needs. It's also expensive compared to a simple cable wrap, but the final result looks really great so for me was worth it.

Fiddly
Quality product but quite fiddly. You'll probably need to buy more than one as well
