Looks ok but not very 'playable'
Admittedly even though this is clearly of a smaller size the lack of bright colouration does make me wonder if you'd want to take this outside anywhere, regardless it doesn't seem to be that good in its use anyway as its seemingly a 1 bullet at a time design with pellets that are particularly bouncy and so even easier to lose than ordinary ones but it is true they are safer. The bullets are notably brand exclusive with the source being an unavailable at time of writing 1000 ball set so not idea of future value where this to be played with often. The appearance is also a little awkward as if there was meant to be more colour used (especially on the grip). I kinda doubt the age range its aimed at would really know how to load it up and wouldn't get bored at the idea of loading the pistol for every shot but that's just a personal assumption. Could be perhaps recommendable as something that looks alright though I suppose. As a side note I noticed use of ai generation for the 'product images' that involve the kids holding guns which while not directly related is a deal breaker for some people.

Nicely presented for gifting, and I'm sure the right person would love it.
Harkening back to an older age, this is more of a workdesk novelty than a toy per se, in that I’m not sure I’d give this to a child. However, I took it into work and we all had a real laugh with it, blokes and women. It’s a fair weight, being metal, but the handle folds up pretty neatly. It’s maybe a little over half-size, so it’s good enough to make a reasonable effort at hitting a target with. Obviously it’s not hugely accurate, but that’s part of the fun!The pellets are very soft, so they really don’t hurt even at close range. You get three double-rows of them, and they’e definitely reuseable. We were shooting at a target drawn on a piece of paper and taped over an open cardboard box, so the pellets burst through the paper (or dented it), and were collected either inside the box or fell just in front of it. That way we could reuse them. The gun is loaded by just pushing the pellet down the front of the barrel, and it’s a simple puff of air; strong, but not like a true air gun.In all then, I’d say this is a fun little toy to have laugh with, no harm done. The price is a little high but if you know someone who likes this kind of thing it would make a great little gift, and is very nicely presented in a very solid clear plastic box with a card wrap.

Very well made and great fun but it does need some supervision and I would recommend eye protection also.very good for roleplaying games.Recommended

Has no real play value
The gun arrives in a box which has had a sticker saying 3+ stuck over a 6+ rated toy -personally I would say its older. Toy guns used just be cap guns - would be all sound but this as it fires rubber bullets isnt as child friendly. The gun is palm size, metal and while the barrel is a little wobbly so it rattles a little it looks ok. You fold the handle up - the only purpose of this is to store it back in the plastic box it comes in.The bullets are small like pellets and rubbery, you can fire one at a time by sliding the barrel back. I was surprised on the distance it will easily fire at 10m, fire it at a wall and it bounces off like a bouncy ball. Its not strong or accurate, it bends in the air after a few meters, and it wont knock anything over (like folded card) from anything really over 1m it just doesn't have the power. I tested by shooting into my hand from 20cm away and while you can feel it it doesn't hurt - that's not to say it wouldn't if hit you in the eye - and here lies the issue, especially as has a tendency to drift in the air. While its more authentic than say the usual nerf style guns, it doesn't really have any use - with no power you cant use it for target practice like the sponge bullet guns. The rubber pellets bounce and gone, very hard to find, and once they are used up the fun is over. You can only load one at a time so have to stick the rest in your pocket or carry them in your hand. Yes it goes far but the novelty of hunting for the bullets and not being able to knock targets down will soon wear off. It does however work as advertised but more of a novelty item.

Toy Gun With Soft Rubber Bullets Making It Safe For Kids
Alloy Toy Gun with 84 Soft Bullets,Toy Guns for Boys,Realistic Toy Gun Model,Toy Pistol Fidget Gun,Foldable Fake Gun with Acrylic Display BoxBrand: HUGMIEA toy gun modelled on the Smith & Wesson SW1911, albeit a fair bit smaller so not a scale model by any means.Unlike the real SW1911 this toy gun folds up to make it easier to carry around plus taking up less space when storing.Made from alloy with plastic hand grips, when folded in to position it looks and feels quite solid and reasonably well made.It fires very soft rubber balls so would be safe for young children to play with, especially as it is very weak in power and being hit with a ball causes no pain. The gun is cocked just like a real gun by sliding the cocking lever on the top of the gun. There's no magazine so you cannot load multiple balls and it's a one shot affair, so simply pop one in the front end of the barrel and you're ready to go.84 rubber balls are included and come in 3 strips of 28. Simply tear a ball off to use.A plastic/Perspex storage/display case is included, which looks like a giant Lego piece due to the design. You can't display the gun in its unfolded state so it does seem a bit odd to include this case other than for storage purposes. This toy gun is aimed at children years 3+ and the small design of the gun makes it ideal for little hands.Unless aimed at an eye for example I don't think this gun will pose any more danger than any other projectile firing toy, but obviously supervision is recommended for very young children. It's quite nicely made, obviously a toy, fires safe soft balls and young children will no doubt enjoy playing with it despite likely being unaware of the model it's based on.I wouldn't say it's a collectable item and certainly I doubt one you'd want to put on display so the inclusion of a display case seems an unnecessary addition, but it's ok to store your gun and ammo in.
