The supplied antenna with my GNSS units is only 2DB so I am getting +3DB and a nice omni-directional radiation pattern
I bought a pair of these to use with the Emlid Reach RS RTK GNSS units. I am used them for a GNSS RTK LoRa RF corrections in the 915 MHz band. The antenna provides a 5DB boost for that band. The supplied antenna with my GNSS units is only 2DB so I am getting +3DB and a nice omni-directional radiation pattern. I am very pleased with the omni-directional pattern and the ability to have my transmitter's antenna 10 feet away from my GPS unit. I did have to but an SMA adapter to make it work with my Reach RS unit. The magnetic base is really handy for placing the antenna on the car or on my tripod when in the field.

Weak magnet, no noticeable gain
I bought this to use with a Wilson 2B5225 booster. First of all, the magnet in the base is so weak that the antenna won't stay on the vehicle. It blows off at highway speeds or when a truck passes in the opposite direction. Second, the antenna keeps coming unscrewed from the base. Third, I notice no gain in the cell signal when I put my phone in the booster cradle. Maybe the antenna is not a match for my booster. But even if it worked better, it still won't stay on the vehicle.

Look Elsewhere
Most importantly, the antenna wouldn’t pick up a signal in the stated frequency range. Secondly, the magnetic base would not stay mounted on the roof of my truck at highway speeds.

Magnets a little on the weak side
This product is great for what I bought it for, I am using 2 to connect to Mobile Wireless Modems in order to test a data connection between vehicles and our internal network. Much less bulky and untenable that the previous combination Data/GPS antenna I was using. I would hesitate to use them on a moving vehicle though as I don't think the magnet is strong enough to resist wind pressure at 60 - 70 miles per hour. However great for my needs at a very good price.

great little signal blocker.
Bought this to aid the weak cell signal on my straight talk home phone transceiver. With the stock "rubber ducky"that came with the unit. had only one occasionally blinking signal strength light. connected this using a tnc to smaadapter all traces of signal were completely eliminated. Once again an item that they MUST KNOW doesn't work, but they have confidence that no sucker will bother to return something this cheap

Excellent 700Mhz Reception
Build quality isn't too bad, seems consitant with similar antennas, but the magnetic base is VERY weak. I use it indoor only, but it will not stay on a vehicle doing "freeway" speeds.

Does not provide 12 dB gain
I bought 2 of these to use on my wireless modem which has built in antenna but also has dual SMA connectors for external antennas.I connected the antennas and had less signal strength than what I had with built in antenna.

Is as described seems to work well ..
Product is as described, if looking for a large antenna look else where . As the weather gets warmer I will be doing some limits testing and will update review . It definitely works not sure if this is better than a 9dbi screw on ..

Small base and the magnet to weak
Do not like the size of the base it is only 1-1/4" in diameter when a strong wind hits the antenna it tips it over. If the magnet was stronger the base size would not matter as much. My main use is not for mobile it is going to be used with a scanner 14 floors up in an apartment building to listen to the 700 Mhz Emergency band. It looks like I will have to remount the antenna somehow on a stronger magnet for use. Over all I think if it brings in what I want to listen to stronger than the antenna I use now it will be worth the money spent.

Not a great magnet but improves signal quite well.
A weak magnet is my only concern. The product arrived on time and I am very happy with it's performance.Does not stick on top of your vehicle on rough terrain. Weak magnet. keeps dislodging over rough terrain.I have to place mine inside my vehicle . The antenna itself does work quite well as it is supposed to and it does improve my signal. I just wish I could stick it on the top of my vehicle as the product is intended to be used. Also the coiled portion in the antenna makes a slight whistling noise when you pick up speed.

Not good enough, requires expensive booster.
Worse signal than my internal antenna for ZTE MF279T. Even put the antenna out the wall on to the roof with no difference in signal that I received off the antenna in the house. -98 dBm without antenna, -110 dBm with antenna on the roof.
