Analog AV Multi Out to Component Cable for Playstation 3/PS2

I recently downgraded from an HD flat panel TV to an old tube TV and the picture quality with the composite cables was terrible. So I decided to try component video instead, and this is the cable I picked. I based my decision solely on price and customer reviews. It works great and is of good build quality - not at all what you would expect from a 50 cent cable. I have no idea of its durability, but I see no reason for it to fail - it looks like it is well made. The only caveat? The listing says "quick shipping from USA" but it took way longer to arrive than all the other stuff I ordered from Amazon at the same time, and that stuff came by way of the Super Saver shipping. Maybe the seller should ship with Amazon. Anywho, I hooked this cable up to my PS3, but I see no reason why it would not work with a PS2, the connectors are the same on both.

RGB wires tend to look fuzzy on HDTVs, but his wire will fix that. The only bad thing about this wire is that it is significantly shorter then the one that came with my PS2.If you are the type of gamer that drags the PS2 2ft from the TV in the middle of the living room while you chill on a couch, consider looking for a longer wire. Otherwise this is the cable you want.If you get sound but no picture, you have to change the setting on your PS2.- Use old wire- Take the game out- Turn on PS2- Switch the RGB setting to Y Pb PrIf you can't use your old RGB wire, then you got to do it blind.- Turn on console or reset, wait 15 seconds- Press down on the joypad then X- Down three times then X- Left then X- Finally O (to return to main menu)If this fails, try the above but press Down twice instead of three times. Different models of PS2s have different menus. This does NOT work for modded PS2s.

What I bought this cable for, was for recording through my hauppauge, this cable was BARELY decent, the picture quality was horrible, they were hard to plug in, it seems the shielding, or whatever it's called, is bent to far in and takes some muscle to actually get to plug in. When finally plugged in the picture was just awful on 720p, the higher the resolution the worse the picture got. I do NOT recommend this cable at all, I suggest finding a much better one.I give this a two star because it works, but only two because it doesn't work very well.

This is an amazing product. Purchased from Amazon and it came in the mail 2 weeks later. Not happy about how long it took but there is construction on my road right now so it was probably necessary. The product itself is amazing. Nice strong, durable wiring that connects easily to almost all TV's. I have a tv in my room and was delighted to see that the cord is a blue green red instead of the standard analog out. This means that I was able to hook up my wii and my ps2 because the ps2 didn't use the ports that the wii was taking up. It renders it in beautiful HD (or something that looks damn nice) and IS an upgrade. The product itself performs flawlessly. I took 1 star away because of my personal experience getting it. Since it took to long, I subtracted 1 star. But, I guess Amazon had a good reason for this. There usually ALWAYS on time.P.s- great for watching movies and games DON'T drop frames AT ALL!!

I ordered my first cord and it arrived very quickly but was defective when I hooked it up. I contacted the seller and they immediately responded and sent me a second cord free of charge! The second cord works almost perfectly. The only minor issue is that the screen sometimes flickers to black for a split-second, but it doesn't bother me too much. For less than $5 who cares? I only gave the product 3 stars because I needed to try 2 cords and the minor issue.

I ordered this cable because I wanted a better picture for my Ps3 games, Netflix movies and everything else I use my Ps3 for. I ordered this one because it was cheap and figured you couldn't really go wrong with this type of cable. It was delivered to my home, I hooked it up and the picture was perfect...for about 10 minutes. Then these diagonal lines started swooping across my game screen. I checked all the connections and all were connected properly. I went to the store the same day and bought the name brand cable and it worked perfectly. It wasn't as cheap as this one but it actually worked, which is always a big plus.

The component cable shipped to me works great! It doesn't have gold plating or extra protections like that, but the packaging the cable came in was well-packed and protected with bubble-wrap. And for less than $3, you can't go wrong. I have yet to see any problems with it, but it works great with my PS3 and gives me HD picture. My TV is about 10 years old, so it only supports component, not HDMI. The only thing that would have been a little helpful is if the cables were labeled with their respective input holes. This is because component has two red cables, one for video and one for audio. However, the two audio cables (red and white) have a little box around them to separate them from the three video cables. :)

I read some reviews that said that this cable & cables similar to it didn't work with their PS2s, and that all they got were blank or black screens.I recently updated to a large HDTV and wanted to get a component cable for my PS2 to improve picture quality over what I was getting with my old composite cable. I decided to take a chance on this cable even though I was worried that it wouldn't work with my old 1st generation PS2 given that the price on this cable was so low.Well, I was very pleased with the purchase. The cable works fine, and I didn't even have to make any adjustments to the PS2 (which some people have stated they needed to do). I just exchanged the old cable for this one, turned it on, and it worked great. Furthermore, the picture quality over my composite cable was definitely noticeable.If you're looking for a HDTV component cable for your PS2, I'd recommend this one.

I was cleaning things up and got rid of things I don't need. Had this connector laying around since I bought PS3 and figured, "I haven't used it in 10 years so won't ever need it". And then Murphy said "nope, you will now need it". And I did. So glad that this was available. Works great.

La TV è un modello Sony full hd da 43 pollici di qualche anno fa, di qualità più che discreta. L'ambiente è molto luminoso. È inteso che una connessione analogica come questa non può reggere il confronto con una digitale come la HDMI, ed ero pronto a dover rinunciare alla definizione massima, però la qualità video mi ha proprio deluso.Sono presenti artefatti piuttosto evidenti (ombre viola a destra di tutti gli oggetti). A tutte le definizioni, 576i, 576p, 720p, 1024i e 1024p. In effetti la qualità non sembra risentire molto della definizione.Non so quanto questo sia un difetto del cavo e quanto della combinazione DAC sulla PS3 e gestione del component della TV, però ho letto in giro che questo tipo di artefatti dovrebbero dipendere essenzialmente dal cavo e che cavi di ottima qualità ne causano di minori.

Works exactly as expected and allows me to use my sound bar to really beef up the PlayStation. Job done.
