Better than what I was using before, but still have to be careful. This is good for giving a close shave, but beware if you take the attachment off to for the closest trim you can. While it is decent at avoiding nicks, I still managed to get one so as usual extra care needs to be taken.

I have nothing to share at this time since I only purchased to be proactive. I already own a Manscape model which works excellent, but that’s the only one I have. So my gold was to have an extra on hand. My Manscape model still working.

I have to say I am very disappointed with the foil attachment & that's the only reason I bought this to begin with. I already have a beard trimmer that does a similar job, I just wanted the foil for the closer finished shave.This is listed as a ball trimmer, so I was hoping it would handle those curves & bumps. This one has edge blades on either side of the foil, and so close to the foil that it almost has to sit perfectly flat to keep the edge blades from cutting you. They make it very difficult to use & after a month I've nicked myself every time I've used it. Really with they weren't on there to begin with.
