Works when it feels like it
The audio is great when it works. But be under no illusion it will only work when it can be bothered. If the planets aren't aligned just right it will just straight up fail to show on the app, fail to connect to WiFi, then randomly work out of nowhere. When it decides it can't be bothered to work today, it often takes several reboots of the entire speaker and phone and closing and opening apps for about 10 to 20 minutes until it works. Sometimes even then it will just essentially not be bothered. Then 4 hours later or the next day just randomly works. There's no rhyme or reason. You don't get to decide when it works, it works when it decides it will let you use it.You get good sound for cheap but being cheap has its own price and this is it. It's shoddy. Also you can't adjust the bass or treble and especially on lower volumes the bass overpowers the treble to the point you can't even really hear the vocals. And there's no way to change it LOL. Not even a simple equaliser that even most free smartphone apps have.On max volume it's super loud and the bass and treble levels balanced decently. It is quite bassy. Your neighbours will hate you.P.S. The app is pretty much junk. Spotify will be playing and not reflect in the app many times, or will be "playing" a different song compared to what the speaker is actually playing. Sometimes it randomly stops working or whatever and you have to skip tracks until it randomly works again. It's like a hot girl with a terrible personality. You put up with it because it's good in bed when it doesn't "have a headache" tonight, then have to grouch around with it the rest of the time. Good times. Good times.

Excellent sound, great build, good style
This was a leap of faith, that was worth it. Excellent sound, well built, attractive. I like the highest quality audio that I can afford, like an LG phone because of its DAC, Lindy Cromo ANC headphones, Kenwood ICE with JL Audio speakers - I'm not an expert but I recognise and appreciate good sound. The Tibo Kameleon 6 has a full, warm sound with good detail but not over bright or harsh. House and dance sounds excellent with very clear separation of each part of the track. Americana like Fleetwood Mac sounds warm and engaging, I've not listened to enough hard rock yet to come to a conclusion. The initial set up was tricky, because my router (Vodafone standard) didn't want to connect through WPS the first few times, and trying the manual setup through the app and using the router password was impossible because the (sparse) instructions that came with the Tibo didn't mention its own network WiFi password that is needed to join its network to then tell it the router password.... After a few tries the WPS worked, and I was able to use the app to remove the Tibo password and then set it up manually. I may have been not using the WPS properly, but it should just be 2 button presses! My brother has a Sonos 1 and this is at least parity, and to my ears better with weightier sound. No matter what you read about tiny speakers having great bass, it ultimately is related to speaker cabinet size, and this Tibo Kameleon 6 is a decent size. It's also Bluetooth 4, which is the version that brought in better quality codecs like Aptx (but it's not Aptx HD), later Bluetooth versions are about range and power efficiency. I don't use the Bluetooth though, as sound via WiFi is inherently better as the data rates are higher. I'm pleased with the sound, build, and style (the walnut style end plates look like real wood). The app is basic but works. There is quite a loud startup voice when you turn it on, and I'd love the option to remove it, or change it's volume or accent (default is an American lady, despite this being a British product). Finally, this retailer offers a 2 year warranty as standard, which isn't mentioned anywhere until you buy. I really struggled to find any reviews of Tibo products, bar some vague customers ones on Amazon, but glad I bought this one.

Great value and quality.
First off. Great sound, and quality build and design. Liked the option of changing side panels, which was easy to do.Quick set up guide, not really that. It just identifies the buttons and sockets. The best way I found to connect to the internet was to press the WPS buttons on the back of the your router and speaker unit. Paired in seconds. Tried through Tibo app 8 times, but would not connect. However, no problem with bluetooth connectivity.Would I recommend this unit? Absolutely very good item at a very fair price.

Great sound and fantastic value
I bought one of these to replace a Bluetooth Bose speaker that was failing in various ways. I have been very happy with this. At about a quarter the price of the Bose unit, it sounds just as good and connects seamlessly.I'm giving it 4 rather than 5 stars because the initial connection wasn't as smooth as it should have been, the Tibo app is not very helpful and I had to use the alternate connection option rather than the quick setup described in the guide. Also very occasionally it stops being discoverable from Spotify when you use the 'play on a different device' option. A power cycle usually fixes that though.I use my Kameleon in wi-fi mode almost all of the time so I can't speak to how reliable the Bluetooth is. I also use it connected to the mains power so I have no idea about the battery life. The wi-fi connection with Spotify means that I can control the speaker from anything that is connected to my Spotify account, even if it's not actually on the same wi-fi network (I can't start casting to the speaker though unless I'm connected). This is handy when I'm at my work laptop which goes through a different connection to my home network or if I'm on my phone which is not usually connected to wi-fi. I have a reasonably large apartment and the sound easily fills the space that I have across multiple rooms. Theres a lot of bass and the top end is nice and clear. It's almost as good as a decent set of headphones for clarity.
