I don’t typically write product reviews but this wallet deserves more than a few words of praise. The craftsmanship and design are fantastic. This is an almost perfect minimalist wallet. If you don’t want to keep reading, just buy it… you won’t regret the purchase.It has storage for 12-14 cards and cash while still managing to be sleek and compact. The leather is molded so that there is no extra bulk around the cards. The pull-tab pockets on either side of the wallet function incredibly well and snap back into place thanks to the magnets integrated in the pull-tab. The wallet closes securely thanks to additional magnets integrated in the leather. The money clip can accommodate a large number of bills and hold them securely. The clip design is simple and functional in that it still allows you to easily leaf through your bills and pull out what you need. There is no fumbling around with a locking mechanism or trying to unfold some misshapen origami bill because the clip holds the bills in a manner similar to a traditional wallet. The two easy access slots function flawlessly and hold the cards securely with no fear of them coming loose by accident. All in all this is a very well thought out and well executed product.I am a bit old school and still like to carry more than 2-3 cards with me at all times and for years I have tried unsuccessfully to get away from having the “George Costanza” wallet that barely fits in your pocket. I have tried various money clips and minimalist wallet designs over the years but all of them pushed me back to my standard bifold wallet. Well not anymore! I have finally found the one. If you are looking for a wallet that is actually functional while also achieving a marked reduction in bulk then look no further.

I tried 2 other slim wallets. Had to return them as being 2 small. This one holds 7 credit cards, 2 health cards, my driver's license, car insurance paper and my cash is folded up inside. Fits in my front or rear pocket with no problem. RFDI protected. Magnets hold the wallet closed. 5 stars for me.

I have tried other “slim wallets” before and didn’t like them. This one works as advertised and is WAY smaller in my pocket. Definitely recommend!

My favorite wallet, even when compared to very expensive brands.I have tried several minimalist wallets, and most are just not practical for daily use. The metal or carbon options are not easy to load or unload. The ones that have a lever to push the cards out will only work with standard credit cards. If you have any of the newer metal cards, they are too heavy and they fall out easily.But not with this. Fits a lot of cards, has slots for frequent access. The pull out tabs are color coordinated so I have personal cards on one side and business cards on the other. The money clip works well.But my favorite feature is the strong magnet that holds it shut.I also really like the quality leather that has aged well.Highly recommended

Good balance of materials focused on being light weight, which it is. However it does make it feel a bit too fragile, but time will tell if it holds up.

Edit: After owning this for about 8 months, I am removing another star. The magnets are actually damaging the end of my credit card (photo attached), as the card has to force them apart each time I pull the strap. I now try to fish the card out without using the strap to reduce damage.I previously owned the Distil Union Wally 2.0 (B01M8MFWXS) and it had started to wear out after about six years with the hem of the pull straps fraying. I purchased this new 5.0 version hoping it had all the same qualities, but I have been disappointed. The only change I actually like is the extra slot inside the wallet for one card on each side that leaves the card partially exposed when the wallet is open. This makes it much easier to show ID or tap a card.I don't actually feel like the new magnets add any value. The ones that hold the billfold part closed are fine but unnecessary, although they make the wallet longer, and the ones on the card slots are actually annoying. It is still a reasonably slim wallet, so I will probably use it until it wears out unless I run into something better, but I will look around for something else next time.Specific points where I like the 2.0 better:- The 2.0 held more cards without being particularly thicker.- The 2.0 was shorter (I think the extra length on the 5.0 is to give slack for the case magnets to touch).- It was easier to pull the cards out of the 2.0 because you didn't have to fight to get the pull tabs loose. The magnets on the straps are totally unnecessary as the ends of the straps were naturally kept flat when the 2.0 was pushed into my pants pocket.- When I wanted to reinsert a card in the 2.0 I could just squeeze the corners of the wallet near the end and it would open enough to insert a card, similar to a coin purse. The 5.0 feels like it has thinner materials, and rather than squeezing open it just buckles and does not open, so I either have to pull the strap to bring out all my cards or else try to wiggle a finger into the end to get it to open.- It was also easier to push the cards back into the 2.0 because you didn't have to shove them as deep to make sure there is enough slack for the magnets to latch. I actually have to push my finger into the slot to get the cards deep enough for the slot to close enough for magnets to latch.- The leather feels thinner on the 5.0 than the 2.0. I know they are trying to make the wallet thinner, but this is starting to feel like something that will wear out quickly. This one is hard to judge though, so hopefully it will last.

Great quality; surprisingly thin with plenty of space for cards, cash, etc.The magnetic features are top notch and have received lots of compliments.

I really like this wallet .. leather is soft and feels good in my hand.. Love the small size ...Love the easy access to my cards , love the money clip too. but It is too expensive in my taste.. I wish i can get some credit.. One thing that scares me .. is the magnets that may erases / demagnetized my credit cards ?? .. other than that I recommend this wallet...

Simple wallet that fits all my essentials easily and is very user-friendly.

Was looking for a long time a front pocket wallet and distil union wallet matched all my criteria. Good quality, fits cash and cards perfectly.

The cash clip snapped apart in less than 18 hours after receiving it. Absolutely ridiculous.

The wallet arrived with many scratches on the leather already. The stitching on the black tag is loose and frayed. The burnishing on the corners is terrible, it looks nothing like the product images. The magnetic squeeze opening that they tout in their videos doesn’t work, the wallet just squishes even when full of cards. I will be returning this for sure.
