It definitely keeps the aquarium about 4-5 degrees cooler! The noise is about a 4 out of 10. The fitment and build quality is good so far. For the price of the product it is definitely worth it. The functionality is simple but yet works!

I'm using it for my axolotls hospital tank and it has done an amazing job. It keeps the water at the perfect temperature (I bought it with a SENSTREE Timer Thermostat that was around $25 on Amazon so it turns on when the tank gets to hot) but it can take the temperature down a couple of degrees in just around ten minutes. It's not too loud and the noise is white noise so it's easy to ignore. It also fits perfectly on my 5 gallon, 8x16 inch tank. I would 100% recommend this to anyone who needs to keep a tank cool. It is totally worth the money.

I got this for my axolotl tank it works amazing. It really quiet and keep the tank at the temperature I need it to be. I have a 30 gallon tank.

Update on product and review. I gave a low review previously because I received the item on time but it was not fully operational. Out 2 fans on the system only one fan worked. Once I contacted Amazon, the seller was quick to send a replacement. Having the product working to full capacity has helped tremendously with keeping my Fluval Flex 32.5 gallon saltwater tank within the prescribed temperatures. This is a solid product for tank hobbyist looking for a way to cool your tank without installing a chiller. Hangs on the tank with a solid bracket, and like that it has three different fan modes. I would recommend this product.My first review when the item was not fully operational: Item arrived on time. It looked very promising and was rated as Best Seller. I hooked it up and only one fan works on it. It would be prefect for my tank if I had both fans fully operational.

However Coolers are expensive, unsightly (At least for me) and I wasn't about to have my electric bill fly through the roof so i felt at my wits end. I bought two of these thinking it was going to bring down the temp just a little bit but better than what it's been at due to the heat.Not only did it work, but when I woke up the temperature was steady AND at it's most minimal for Goldfish. e.g 64 Degrees. Note: I want to make sure it's around 72 usually so that the fish aren't lethargic but I had both fans on high so seeing how well the temperature was was SO relieving. I honestly thought my fish were going to die as two days ago my temperature for the tank was 80-82 and that's unacceptable for these types of fish.Additionally I feared that it would be too hard to cool my 55 gallon but I was willing to try anything and these fans have surpassed all of my expectations.Size: They're bigger than i thought they were. Somehow I felt like the pictures on amazon were smaller but they're a good size.Attaching: Comes with a back clip, you stick it in the holds and adjust the fans onto the rim of your tank. It doesn't even take 2 minutes. It's pretty easy to use too - Three buttons to choose from and you're good to go.Temperature Adjustment time: Within the first hour I noticed my tank was about a degree cooler and I had both fans on high. In the morning it was significantly lower.Build: I'm not impressed that these fans are not water proof so placement is important and their warranty doesn't cover water damage but I can't complain too much since the cost is just right.Noise Level: Very low. It's slightly noticeable if you're actively listening for it.Build Quality: To me it feels cheap. This product was kind of hard to install especially with little to no instruction and my tank has a lip or rim on it so it's barley hanging on. Will cool but the fan only blows above the water which is fine. My axolotl is fine.

This is an excellent produxt. I am happy that it gets the water in my aquarium lower. I will gladly recommend it .

It works to cool the water but it’s not summer.
