More fun for adults than for kids
This is another great LEGO technic car model.Normally when you hear LEGO, you think about building blocks and toys , but the Technic series is designed more for adults than kids. The model kit will be fine for 9+ years old kids ,but I think adult motorsport fans will have more fun than kids.In this case the car model is Chevrolet Corvette Stingray , which looks great once built. There are many moving parts and it is overall great designed model. There are 732 pcs in this kit and it does take some time to build it.Once build the the model is fairly good in size and the quality of the parts is very good. The price of this Chevrolet Corvette Stingray is £44.99 , which is not bad for a kit like this.Hopefully my review was Helpful for you.

Well made, with great instructions
My 12 year old daughter and I have fun making this, even though neither of us are into cars! It's part of the LEGO Technic collection, meaning it's more advanced that standard LEGO - and this certainly feels like it. The guide for this kit is 9+ but I do feel that's a little young, based on how intricate this kit is. However, the instructions really are superb - so clear to follow. That said, my daughter and I haven't finished this (yet!) but it was an enjoyable couple of hours and it's great to see the model take shape.

Top quality as always
This is a great build for any LEGO Technic and car fan. Being from the LEGO Technic range, it is a much more advanced build than standard LEGO and this is the reason why it is aimed a nine years and upwards. Our little boy is five. Whilst he has transitioned from Duplo onto ‘grown up LEGO’, as he calls it, he would struggle with this set on his own. He has already received a couple of other Technic builds as gifts and he did need help with the builds. This particular build (42205) has 732 pieces. I would describe that as a medium sized build and this is reflected in the pricing. Currently priced at £54.99, this is pretty much right in the middle in term of LEGO set prices if you consider sets usually range between a tenner and a hundred quid. Yes, there are outliers, but on average that’s what you pay. It’s an interesting and engaging build, with several special features included. The main feature, I would say, is the inclusion of a working eight cylinder engine with moving pistons. In addition, the doors, the bonnet and the engine /cover all open. The front wheels turn and these are controlled by turning the steering knob on the roof of the car.On the box, it says ‘Play in Ashfalt Legends - Unite’. I was unsure what this was, so had to look it up. It’s a racing game that features on a wide range on gaming platforms including Playstation, Xbox, Steam and Switch. This model of car, the Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, is one of the vehicles that features in the game. LEGO seem to be doing more and more of these licensed collaborations these days. I guess that it’s a great sales strategy and a superb way of getting people to buy into LEGO, once they had invested themselves in a particular franchise. As I say, the Ashfalt Legends gaming franchise was one that I was unaware of.As is always the case with LEGO, the instructions are great. I have done a few non-LEGO builds and the instructions can be really frustrating and confusing. Thankfully, this is never the case with LEGO. They really do have their instructions down to a tee. If you’re digitally inclined, the build can be completed by scanning the QR code and following the online instructions - best done on an iPad. The benefit of the digital instructions, is that you can rotate each step in a digital space and see the build from all angles. Very clever. As always, this is a top quality LEGO Technic build, which I’m moe than happy to recommend. You can never go wrong with LEGO.

A Fun and Challenging Build
The build was challenging enough to keep him engaged, especially with features like the 8-cylinder engine and the working differential. It felt like we were building an actual car, and he couldn’t stop showing off how everything moved once it was put together. The attention to detail on this model is impressive. From the sleek curves of the body to the realistic engine and suspension, it feels like a miniature version of the real thing. The instructions were clear and easy to follow, but there were still enough complexities to make it feel rewarding when it all came together. I love that it’s not just a static display piece, this car actually rolls, and you can see how the parts work together. This kit is perfect for both kids and adults who love cars or enjoy a good building challenge. It's a fantastic gift for anyone who appreciates motorsports or LEGO sets, and it makes for a cool display piece once completed. It’s educational too, teaching about mechanics and engineering in a fun, hands-on way. Definitely worth the investment for anyone looking to add a bit of speed to their LEGO collection!

Brilliant Set, Very Fun Build
Brilliant build, quite advanced though so I would say the recommended 9+ age is spot on. There's lots of attention to detail and clever moving parts. As always with Lego, the quality of the parts is fantastic and the instructions are clear. Most of the identifying features that make this a Corvette over just a generic sports car are coming from the stickers, but for the size of the build it's still well done and they did get a few key features right. Love the bold colour.

Love it!
Great fun! I have a few of these, and love building each and every one. Easy to follow manual, either the paper version or you can use an app version. The construction is fun to do, and is quite detailed! even to the creation of a limited differential that actually works! This will make a great addition to my growing collection.
