In the past I've used decking stain on my decking. Never again. This product although a little more expensive than decking stain, its so worth it. Looks great too !!

Amazing product. My decking looks fabulous it tools me 2 days to complete this decking I will use it again on my other decking too. I was going to take my decking up but I’m so happy with this finish so I’m going to see how it stands up to winter. But I would highly recommend this product for sure. Just make sure you clean your decking properly and it’s very dry before applying. Fabulous finish.

Pre painted some new decking to a great finish. Only concern is that water does not soak away and may prove problematic in the future.Update12 months on and the paint had virtually disappeared from the older wood and is also flaking off the new decking despite 3 coats being applied.A couple of years later - you would never know that the older wood had been painted as it appears to have been totally washed off. The new wood has flaked badly and is unsightly!.Not worth the money for a short term look!

Best by far. Ill try cut a long story short ...... painted my aging deck with every type of paint known to man. Some paints ive bought at very high expense and they have lasted no time at all...literally days. I had all but decided to spend 5 grand on a new plastic type deck but thought id try this based on reviews. Its awesome. Better than all other stuff you will ever try. Stop researching and buy this.Goes on like cream, looks awesome and lasts. Ok in 6 months or a year it will need another go but my deck was ruined but this stuff has lasted and stayed on the cover for the last 5 months. A couple small sections need a wee top up due to heavy rain (typical aberdeen) but an hours touch up and it will look brand new.Ive failed in keeping it short i know, but buy this stuff its the best out there. 7 people i know have tried it and been very happy with the results.

I bought a tin of rescue paint and painted my top decking and it looked good. I reordered from the same company to complete the rest of my decking. I used status car care and I should have realised by the name of the company they were not the best company to use! The tin arrived and when the weekend came I started to paint my decking. After a couple of strips I could see the paint was not as good and very thin. It is then I noticed I had not been sent rescue paint but ultimate protection a different Ronseal product. I complained to status car care who were very unhelpful telling me to contact Ronseal not them. I did contact Ronseal and they confirmed that rescue paint was no longer produced and ultimate was a water based product and was the replacement for rescue paint. I explained I had ordered rescue paint to status car care but the did not want to know. DO NOT USE STATUS CAR CARE FOR ANY PURCHASE,

When it rains this paint is treacherous under foot on the decking. No grip whatever.It’s on a patio with a ramp. Even on the flat patio to remain upright when the deck is wet needs the agility of an ice skater.To correct this I am having to add grit to the paint I have left and hopefully that will allow my family to leave safely and the Postie might agree to deliver post again !!

A thick paint, which successfully covered our small decking area. It did need three coats to cover the previous coat of brown paint. However, it was well worth it as the decking looks like new and modern.I would highly recommend this paint for coverage of a decking that needed an upgrade😁

To use, this stuff is great, only thing is I bought it a few months back and waited for some good weather to use it. So, it was never opened in that time. I opened it yesterday, no damage to the outer box or the brown paper packing, but somebody must have dropped the tin before packing as the lid was dented right on the lip, so that bit was actually lifted up. The person then continued to sticksome tape over the top of the lid, not even trying to seal it shut. Then they stuck it in a plastic bag. So when I opened the bag it was filled with paint, just a bloody mess, so lost about a litre of it. As you can see in the photos. I decanted some into a 2.5 litre tin and was left with out a inch in ths bottom. Not happy and wont be buying this from you again.
