Got a Mac? Use Photo Booth.
It works fine on my MacBook with Photo Booth, though the snap and zoom button do not work. I think you need to install the software for those to work (unfortunately, I do not have a disk drive, so I'll have to get an external). So far, it's fun to use, but I'm giving it three stars because there was no manual, as advertised.

doesn't work on Mac like the title says so
Packaging was a mess the bubble wrap was underneath the box rather than on the scope. The stand isn't metal, doesn't work on Mac like the title says so, doesn't come with the male to female cable needed for an android phone, although does say in the description, it does need a disc installation for computers it isn't an automatic installation as stated in the description, didn't even come with an instruction manual so had to troubleshoot problems by looking online, wasn't even able to use it because I thought it worked on Mac, so false advertisement.

It's good but difficult to use if not in it's holding bracket
I like this product however it is quite hard to get the zoom right when looking through it as the toggle is quite stiff and the mounting bracket is not robust to counter act this process so you quickly lose what you were looking at and have to re-adjust which makes it very difficult to use. The microscope is very difficult to use when free-handing as stabilising it is so important so you can focus on what you are looking at whilst trying to get the zoom correct - proves to be near impossible.

Works well after you read the manual (it's on the disk) and download all the programming for it

This little microscope is awesome. Great images. No issues.

Software doesn't work
I installed the software that came with this product twice. It didn't work. I had an IT friend try to uninstall and re install it,, and it still didn't work. Tried with two shipments of the same microscope, and it still does not work. What to do????

Digital Microscope
Item is all that was described.Sadly the USB plug is larger than the smaller USB ports on my phone and tablet.The impetus to purchase the microscope was its portability working with my phone and tablet.
