This is a great light weight bowl to use for microwaving. Because of the high capacity (28 oz), you can comfortably put an entire can of soup into it and have no fear of it overflowing. The steam vent on the top with the removable silicone stopper is a nice touch, since again you can microwave a bowl of noodles or soup with no explosions or overflows. The lid also screws tight and there doesn't seem to be any reason to unscrew it when microwaving. Honestly, I wish I had this bowl when I was going to work every day with leftovers or soups to heat up.There is a plastic lid, but it doesn't snap or rotate in so as to be sturdy. That would have been nice. There is an included spork, but for very watery soups it leaks too much to be useful. It's also a little confusing at first how to use the slider to make the spork stiff. Also, the tines are far too short to use for a salad. So the spork is the biggest failure of the set.This bowl is such a good product that I can't imagine a better one. I give it a 4½ out of 5 because of the spork, but it really is great if you can just throw in another utensil.

My only minor gripe with this bowl is that it's a little small for bigger "brick" instant ramen noodles, meaning that you have to break the noodle brick apart to get it all inside the bowl before you add the water. Beyond being bad luck, most people prefer their ramen noodles long. This doesn't apply to every brand of instant ramen, only to the ones with flatter, wider bricks. But I've used this thing six times now and it has worked great every time. It's a definite buy for me; just wish it was a little wider.
