I wish they had a factory in Britain; when possibly it might be much less expensive. Owing to issues between Europe and Britain, this marzipan is probably the most expensive there is, even for its super quality. Absolutely delicious. This large size is probably the most economic purchase price for marzipan, beaten only by the bars of chocolate filled with marzipan made by the same manufacturers, (also available on Amazon).

This is the Rolls-Royce of chocolate bars. Finely ground marzipan, coated with a thin layer of dark chocolate, the whole not as sweet as the British would make it. But there is no credible competition. This marzipan loaf is tastier than other forms. From Lübeck in north Germany, the world capital of marzipan! Best eaten chilled, cut into thin, translucent slices, with a cup of black Ceylon orange pekoe tea. Heaven! If you buy more than £10 worth you will get it postage free, i.e. at the same price as Tesco used to sell it -- only now they apparently dont stock this particular type. As I write Amazon too is out of stock. Amazon, how could you let your customers suffer such trembling withdrawal symptoms? Is nothing sacred?

The chocolate just didn't seem the same quality as I remember from the last time I had it.

Hate the stuff, but my wife loves it and says it's the best on the market (if you like marzipan).

Great product, once opened gone in minutes

My wife's favourite chocolate! She loves the marzipan, and loves the chocolate on top of it. If you want to be loved, buy your wife some of these bars (I normally buy three for her birthday and another three for Christmas).
