Stunning gift. I brought this expecting it to be a bit tacky (given some of the reviews).I was pleasantly surprised. Box was pretty sturdy, item comes with a nice authentic card to accompany the sword and the sword is very nicely detailed.

Elegance at its finest
This is great. The blade is not sharp but of course it opens letters. It is elegant and the seller made sure that it arrived on the post undamaged and free from scratches.

It opens letters and makes you feel like a giant...what more could you want??The presentational case looks great and doesn't feel cheap or flimsy, the sword has intricate detail and looks great quality. Definitely happy I made this purchase.

One of the coolest things ever
I am a total geek, so it’s very cool to me that I get to open letters with a mini Sting! Bills just don’t feel as bad anymore, heck, I even open junk mail just so I can use this Sting letter opening. Honestly. Best thing ever. Also come in a lovely box.Warning: the metal will become scratched it you use it to open anything other than a paper letter (found out to my detriment as went at a parcel with my Sting)

Quality product
Impressed with quality of the letter opener, a very authentic-looking miniature. Comes in a tasteful wooden presentation case. Bought as Christmas gift for my son who is a LOTR and Hobbit fan and he is sure to like.

Its a fun gift bought for a LOTR's loving dad for Xmas! presentation box was a little flimsy however arrived quickly and the letter opener is quite cool!Expected it to glow blue when a 'bill' arrives, it doesnt!!

Different to what you would expect
Now all of the items that you or I order are shown in the image that the seller has on the page and this image is not the correct image for the item that you get. The item that you get is better in my opinion and the differences are: 1. The case that the item comes in is much darker than you see in the image. 2. There is "the hobbit" etched onto the glass front on the top right corner. 3. on the version you get there is no text on the blade as there is with the image that you see on the page. 4. The wood for the case is not as thick as the one that you get and it looks better to be honest. Overall I am delighted with the product that I've got even though the item I got was different I would still prefer it over the one in the image on the page. The package arrived on time and came very nicely packaged.

Superb!
I bought this for my step-son and was so impressed I bought one for myself too. The letter opener is fantastic and the display case doesn't look shoddy like many similar items.
